Warlock: The Pharaoh

hape the dunes for Pharaoh Kazim Sul of

S
Kemor and become the twisting sands. Once
an Ahn’Kalin, upon claiming the Golden
Scepter, Kazim Sul’s appearance fell only to
be replaced by the Boros Jackal, a blessing
given by the Djinn for their most trusted
servants.
Now, Kazim Sul guides the Voice of the Wastelands
to a new era while quietly seeking a means to overthrow
not only the Djinn who granted him power, but all Djinn
of the Scabbard Wastes.
Expanded Spell List
The Pharaoh lets you choose from an expanded list of
spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following
spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
Pharaoh Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells
1st command, create or destroy water
2nd dust devil, suggestion
3rd clairvoyance, wall of sand
4th compulsion, freedom of movement
5th dominate person, insect plague

Bow Before Greatness

Starting at 1st level, the Pharaoh Kazim Sul demands
all bow before the golden scepter. When you cast an
enchantment spell that requires a saving throw and the
target succeeds, as a reaction, you can force the target
to reroll. The target must also roll a d4 and subtract the
number rolled from the new saving throw. You make
this decision after you see whether the roll succeeds or
fails. The target must use the result of the second roll.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until
you finish a short or long rest. Beginning at 10th level,
you can use this feature twice, and you regain any
expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Sand Devil
Starting at 6th level, you can channel the might of
Pharaoh Kazim Sul to become a Sand Devil.
As a bonus action, transform yourself into a
sandstorm and move 30 feet to an unoccupied space
you can see. At the end of this movement you transform
back into your normal form. While moving in this way,
you do not provoke opportunity attacks. Additionally,
you can move through other creatures as if they were
difficult terrain. Any creature you move through must
make a Dexterity saving throw against your Warlock
spell save DC. If the saving throw fails, the creature is
blinded until the end of your next turn.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until
you finish a short or long rest.
Impenetrable Mind
Starting at 10th level, Pharaoh Kazim Sul’s power
saturates your mind. You become immune to any effect
that would sense your emotions or read your thoughts.
Additionally, if you succeed a saving throw against
becoming charmed, you can use your reaction to deal
2d10 psychic damage to the creature.
Kneel
Starting at 14th level, you can unleash a shout of
dominance. As an action, each creature of your choice
within 60 feet that can hear you must make a Wisdom
saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC. On a
failed save the creature takes 6d10 thunder damage and
falls prone. On a success a creature takes half damage
and does not fall prone.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until
you finish a long rest.

New Pact Boon

At 3rd level, your otherworldly patron bestows a gift
upon you for your loyal service.
Pact of the Golden Scepter
Your patron gives you a golden scepter. The scepter
counts as an arcane focus and has the same stats as a
club.
When using the scepter to cast a warlock spell, you
can choose for the spell to deal necrotic or radiant
damage instead of its normal type.
Additionally, you learn the spell detect thoughts which
counts as a warlock spell for you, but doesn’t count
against the number of spells you know.
If you lose the scepter, you can perform a 1-hour
ceremony to receive a replacement from your patron.
This ceremony can be performed during a short or long
rest, and it destroys the previous scepter. The scepter
turns to ash when you die.
