About the Project Proposal

Dry cleaning is a cleaning process for clothing and textiles using a chemical
solvent other than water. Despite its name, dry cleaning is not a "dry" process;
clothes are soaked in a liquid solvent. It is proposed to set up a Laundry Unit at
Tezu with an aim to provide cheaper, High-Quality Cleaning, Skin friendly, Air
drying with controlled temperature, High Pressure steam iron by saving time,
space & water with laundry services to the customers at their door steps at a click
of mouse.
Prospects of the Project

As per the Census 2011, the population of Tezu township is around 18,184
excluding the population surrounding the villages adjacent to the township. There
are around 16 Schools both Govt and Private within Tezu township including
Engineering and IGG college each with hostel facilities for accommodation.
Besides that, there are numerous Homestays, Restaurants, Hotels, Resorts and
Govt. accommodations like Inspection Bungalow and Circuit Houses. The Tezu
township is also surrounded by Military and other civil establishments. The
statistics is sufficient to indicate the prospect and huge potential of setting up
Laundry Services for the above customers which is in sync with the economic
viability requirement of any project to be supported under schemes such as
DDUSY.

Only) with the ratio of 30% (Promoter contribution) ; 30% (Term Loan) and
40% (Govt. Subsidy). The detailed financial calculations have been given in
Appendix in Detailed Project Report (DPR).
