Troubleshooting

Please note that Assistance and Resources for Computing, Inc has been in business
since 1980 as a Class "C" corporation and has been marketing its software via the
internet since 1999.

All of our programs and their install modules are digitally signed as required for
acceptance by Microsoft Windows.

Our install modules do not contain additional / unwanted programs, etc..

==============================================================

If you are having problems installing this program, first verify that it was
downloaded from an official download link (above).

If not downloaded from an official download site, please remove this download
from your system and download directly via an official download link.

If downloaded from an official download site, consider the possibility that

your anti-virus system may be preventing the execution of the install module.

The antivirus vendors vary in their methods for determining which downloads to
block.
Many "False Positives" occur depending on their detection methods.

The following notes describe known conflicts and workarounds for antivirus vendors.
==============================================================

Norton's "Internet Security" and related products

It has been reported that Norton's "Internet Security" and related products can,
at times, prevent installation of downloaded programs. The one known to block
our programs and / or their install programs is:

"WS.Reputation.1"

This does not declare the module to contain a virus. It simply indicates that
Norton
does not have enough information to grant it approval. It is not generally known
how
much informaiton Symantec / Norton require to avoid being blocked.

This tends to occur with new versions and new builds of known programs as well
as with new programs.
