Three adjustable metal hinges of imported ANNUBA type shall be fixed to each door

into the floor with screws of appropriate length and stiffness.

The finishing of the door shall be as follows:

First Stage:
Give machine or hand sanding to all surfaces of the door leaf, jamb and architraves to
attain smooth surface.
Second Stage:
Apply one coat of sand sealer with machine spray to all smoothened surface

Third Stage:
Give for the second time machine or hand sanding with the minimum size of sand paper
to all parts to attain smooth surface and repeat spray of sand sealer two more times.

Fourth Stage:
Apply Stage three three times with one coat of sand sealer with machine spray to all
smoothened surface and apply one coat of Sprusso/paint primer with machine sprayer.

Fifth Stage:
Repeat machine or hand sanding over to all surfaces of the door leaf, jamb and
architraves to attain smooth surface.
Sixth and Final Stage:
Spray with approved type of white enamel paint with sprayer compressor at least four
times over to attain matte type finish.

8.3 WASTE, VENT AND RAIN WATER PIPES AND

ACCESSORIES
All domestic waste, vent and storm water pipe lines shall be comply to BS 459, BS 4660,
BS 5481 as appropriate, using double ring seals and gasket complying with BS 2394
uPVC, PN-6 pipes and shall be provided with a minimum slpe as stated in the drawing.
Pipes and necessary fittings shall be standard quality and be free from damage during
storage, construction and etc. Unit price shall include all the necessary assistance civil
work, such as excavation cartaway, fixing or hanging to walls, beams or slabs, etc..
necessary fittings such as bends, Y, etc. Storm water uPVC, PN-6 pipes shall resist the
external temperature and the quality shall meet the purpose.

8.3.1 Providing, laying and jointing of internal uPVC PN-6 waste pipes with all uPVC pipe
fittings including jointing with solvent cement joints and tesing of joints etc.. Accoridng

8.4 TESTING AND COMMISSIONING WORK
8.4.1 Flushing, disinfecting and testing and commissioning of water supply system. Flushing
has to be done to clean the pipeline form debris and silts. Disinfecting has to be done
with liquid chloring 8-10ppm. All water pipes shall be tested with pressure of 10kg/cm
(10bar.)

from debris and silts. All waste water pipe shall be tested by water pressure of 1.5 mts
head for minimum of 30 minutes.

8.5 SITE WORK
SITE WATER SUPPLY PIPES
Cold water pipes shall be High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), PN-10 pipes, and be laid
in trench as shown in the sanitary site drawing. Provide 100mm thick sand bedding
material rammed and tamped and 150mm thick approved material to cover the pipe all as
per the typical trench section and detail. Unit price shall include all assistance civil works
and necessary fittings such as T bends, etc accoridng to where shown on the drawing. All
water pipes shallb be tested two times the working pressure or 160 mts head, which ever
is greater at the expense of the Contractor.

8.5.1 Supply and install high density polyethylene pipe, HDPE pipes, PN-10 to site cold water
distribution system as shown on the drawing, complete with all the necessary fittings and
accessoreis.
