 The Mojave Desert is approximately 124,000 square kilometres in size

 It is the tiniest desert in North America.


 The Mojave Desert is mostly above 610 metres (2,000 feet).
 he Joshua tree is native to the Mojave Desert, and it supports an additional
1,750 to 2,000 plant species.
 On July 10, 1913, the Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley, California, recorded
the world’s hottest temperature of 56.7 °C (134 °F).

 The Arabian Desert spans about 900,000 square miles, more than four times the
size of France, Western Europe’s largest country.
 It is the world’s second-largest desert, only the Sahara being greater.
 Mount Al-Nabi Shu’ayb in Yemen, which stands at 3,760 metres hieght
 The world’s longest continuous expanse of sand is found in the Rub’al-Khali
desert.

degree while in summers it is above 50 degree .

 The desert cover most of North Africa, and across the countries of Morocco, Algeria,
Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Western Sahara, Sudan and Tunisia.
 The record high temperature of the Sahara was 136°F
 The desert is made up primarily of rocky hamada landscapes. In fact, it is just 30%
sand, the remaining 70% being mostly gravel.
 Lake Chad is the only freshwater lake in sahara desert.

 Dasth-e kavir Desert is a great salt desert located in north-central Iran


 it is approximately 240 miles (390 km) wide.
 The desert is distinguished by its salt crust, caused by the almost rainless climate
and intense surface evaporation.
 Dasth-e kavir Desert have properties similar to quicksand, traveling in the Dasht-e
Kavir is extremely dangerous.
