CHAPTER 6 – FIRE RESISTIVE REQUIREMENTS
Degree to which a material can withstand fire
Fire resistive rating Expressed in the form of a time period rating (how long a
material can withstand being burned)
CHAPTER 7 – CLASSIFICATION & GENERAL REQUIREMENT
No building shall be constructed unless it adjoins / has direct

2) One side & rear – max. 65% of side & 50% of rear;
total should not exceed 60% of lot perimeter; max.

Mezzanine floor bigger than 185 m2 or having more than
18.00m in any dimension shall have at least two stairways to
an adjacent floor

If 3 or more are required, they shall be arranged a
reasonable distance apart

Exit doors Double acting doors shall not be used as exits when serving
