Introduction :-
• Cultural Heritage is the remembrance of its living
civilization.
• Cultural Heritage includes artifacts ,monuments ,
a group of buildings and sites ,museums that
have a diversity of values including symbolic,
historic ,artistic ,aesthetic ,ethnological ,scientific
and social significance .
What is conservation of cultural heritage :-
• The conservation of cultural
heritage refers to the measures
taken to extends the life of cultural
heritage while strengthening
transmission of its significant
heritage messages and values .
• Conservation of cultural heritage
includes examination ,
• documentation ,treatment and
preservation care of cultural
monuments.
Types of cultural Heritage :-
• There are mainly three types of cultural heritage:-
• 1. Built environment
(buildings ,townscapes ,archaeological remains)
• 2. Natural environment (rural landscapes ,coasts
and shorelines ,agricultural heritage)
• 3. Artifacts (books & documents ,objects ,
pictures)
