What is Manual Testing?

Software Testing is a crucial phase of software development, failing which an application wouldn’t be
released. Simply put, this phase is the decision maker. The process is broadly split into manual and
automation testing.

Manual testing is a fundamental testing methodology where software is checked for bugs and errors.
Besides, it’s a manual tester who checks the viability of automation.

At present, two-thirds of software development companies conduct the tests in a 75:25 or 50:50 (manual:
automation) ratio.
