    SUMMARY
    Directions on how to service accumulator.

    PROCEDURE:
    1. Type of accumulator:
    TYPE: N 70-1/N140-1 J 70-1/J100-1

    DRAWING: 7951134 7931064B


    MACHINE: All machines w/ 6M All machines w/ 04PC

    2. How to order a bladder only.

    Bladder for N 70-1/N140-1

    Bladder for J 70-1/j100-1


    3. If no gas in the accumulator.

    a. RAM stop position is inconsistent.

    b. Hydraulic pressure is inconsistent.

    c. Emergency stop by low pressure.


    4. How to check accumulator gas pressure.

    a. NC power on.

    b. Hydraulic motor off (pressure should stay at 60 kg/cm2).


    c. Slightly open stop valve on the hydraulic unit.

    d. Pressure drops slowly, at a certain point it drops quickly.

    e. That point is almost same as accumulator gas pressure.

    5. How to charge N2 gas to accumulator.


    a. Remove accumulator from machine.

    b. Remove hex nut attached to top of accumulator and install 3-way gas valve there.
    c. Turn handle (28) to CW to remove remaining gas out of bladder.

    d. Close relief valve (25) and connect gas inlet port (29) & (27) with the gas supply port of
    Nitrogen gas cylinder by hose.
    e. Slightly open Nitrogen gas supply port and slowly charge gas into bladder.

    f. Charge gas up to 50kg/cm2 then shut off gas supply port.

    g. Open relief valve (25) to discharge gas and set pressure to 41.5kg/cm2 (+/-3.5kg/cm2).
    h. Close relief valve (25) and turn handle (28) fully CCW.

    i. Remove 3-way gas valve (32)
