    On holiday with sharks!

    Have you ever been scuba diving with sharks? If I’m honest, previous to my latest holiday it
    wouldn’t have crossed my mind in a million years. Last January, an opportunity came up to go
    on a trip to The Maldives with five of my closest friends, and even though it’s the smallest
    country in Asia, it exceded our expectations with it’s beautiful beaches and the local’s warmth
    which made us feel so very welcomed.

    We spent the majority of our time sightseeing and exploring several breathtaking beaches with
    crystal clear waters, we could even see the colorful fishes swimming around. One of the
    highlights of the trip was experiencing the local cuisine, we tried exquisite seafood dishes and
    had the most delightful desserts prepared with exotic fruits.

    Nearing the end of our trip, something crazy happened: a local seaman invited us to go scuba
    diving with sharks! At first, we were aprehensive, it’s not everyday you get to be face to face
    with an underwater predator. Amazingly, after some time he managed to change our minds
    and not only did we swim around with those majestic creatures, but we actually got to pet
    them! Without a doubt, it was my most memorable trip, I’d recommend it to anyone!
