MC: Good Morning ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, parents, and cadets.
Welcome to the Celebrations of 7th Raising Day of Sainik School East Siang, 63rd
Air Force Day and Teachers Day. We gather to celebrate excellence, teamwork, and
leadership. Our Chief Guest, Major General Jarken Gamlin, PVSM, AVSM, VSM
(Retd) has graciously accepted our invitation to join us in this wonderful celebration
of talent and creativity of our cadets.
Here we have an exciting lineup for you, filled with mesmerizing performances and
electrifying shows that will leave you enchanted and entranced as well.
Frame 2
*Lamp Lighting*
MC: The celebrations to begin with the traditional lamp lighting, symbolizing the
illumination of knowledge and wisdom. The Upanishadik Scripture reads “Tamoso
Ma Jyotirgamaya” - Lead me from darkness to Light symbolising ignorance and
knowledge respectively.
May I kindly request our Chief Guest to kindly come forward to the dias. I also
request Principal sir to accompany.

*Introduction of chief guest*

*Solo Song*
MC: Now we have [Cadet's Name] presenting an enthralling rendition, a heartfelt
soulful solo song, showcasing the talented voice of our cadets."

*Traditional Dance*
MC: "Now our cadets are lined up to mesmerize the audience with a traditional
dance performance, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of our Arunachal
Pradesh."
I request Cdt _______ and his team for the dance performance.
[Cadets perform traditional dance.]

*Group Song*
MC: The Sainik School East Siang choir will now present a group song, filling the
air with harmony and peace, nationalism and unity.
I request Cdt _______ and his team for the group song.
[Cadets sing group song.]

FRAME 7
*Modern Fusion Dance*
MC: Yeah, that's the right time to remain ready to be enthralled by our cadets'
energetic modern fusion dance performance, blending styles and rhythms,
dynamism and display."
I request Cdt _______ and his team for the group dance.

*Cake Cutting*
MC: Now It's time to celebrate our cadets' birthdays. Our school celebrates the
birthdays of our cadets every month. The cadets whose birthdays are in the month
of August and September are requested to come to the stage for the cake cutting.
May I request Our Chief Guest, Major General Jarken Gamlin sir and Principal sir
to please come to the stage.
FRAME 9
*Investiture Ceremony*
MC: Now the time is for the Investiture Ceremony. It is a momentous occasion,
where our cadet leaders are honoured with badges and sashes. Multiple
objectives are there of an Investiture Ceremony in school. It helps develop
leadership skills -teamwork and collaboration. It builds confidence and self-esteem
and instil values of discipline, responsibility, and accountability in life. It
encourages cadets participation and involvement in all activities further making
them future leaders.
Now May I request Our Chief Guest, Major General Jarken Gamlin sir and
Principal sir to please come to the stage for the Investiture.
Thank you, sir and congratulations to the newly nominated Appointments.

thanks.

Introduction of the Chief Guest
It is our honour and specifically I feel privileged being a cadet of this school to
introduce Major General Jarken Gamlin, AVSM SM VSM (Retd). The most decorated
officer Major General Jarken Gamlin has had a distinguished military career
spanning 37 years with exceptional leadership and exemplary service to the nation.
Aa an alumnus of Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun and National Defence
Academy, Pune, the decorated officer has demonstrated unwavering commitment to
excellence, strategic vision, and selfless dedication to the welfare of our nation.
During his Military career, the Officer excelled in Military Leadership in Operational
Environment; Human and Material Resources Management in both Conflict Zone
and Peacetime Environment; Disaster Management; Finance, Land and Works
Management in the Army; Management of Strategic Nuclear Assets of the country
and many more.
He has masters degrees in Management studies and public administration and
M.phil in social science from Punjab University. He is a qualified instructor of
Commando Training, Tactical, Weapons and Mortar Training and Staff Work
Training of officers.
The officer has a vast experience as Deputy Adjutant Quarter Master General in a
Brigade HQ, Special Task Force Commander, Commanding Officer of 5/8 Gorkha
Rifles, Director Budget Cell in Master General Ordnance Branch, Deputy Director
General, Land and Works and General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Counter
Insurgency Force (Kilo) in Kashmir and Sub Area to manage the largest logistic node
of the Indian Army. It is indeed an illustrious and exemplary career of decorated and
illustrated officer.
Please join me in welcoming the chief guest to this auspicious event of celebration.
