    CORROSION RESISTANT VALVES & FITTINGS

    SERIES 54 LARGE DIAMETER METAL FACED WEDGE GATE VALVE

    The Series 54 Large Diameter is a metal faced, wedge gate valve


    available in sizes from DN700mm and a variety of pressure
    ratings, suitable for use with water and neutral liquids to a
    maximum temperature of 70°C.

    wedge rings. > Handwheel.
    > Electric actuation.
    ! Epoxy coated internally
    and externally.
    > Hydraulic
    actuation.

    ! Ductile Iron construction.

    gearboxes.

    ! Standard ISO mounting > BS10 or ANSI


    drillings.

    ! Size range DN 700 -
    2500mm.
    > Jacking screws.
    > PN 25 version.
    ! Sheraplex protected
    fasteners.
    > Guide channels

    IMPORTANT NOTE
    ! Valves above and including DN700mm do not take the spindle thrust in the valve bonnet. It is taken in the gearbox or actuator if fitted.
    ! Extreme care must be taken when gearboxes or actuators are removed.
    ! Valves installed with the spindle orientation beyond 100 off vertical will require wedge sleeves and guides.
    ! Pressure differential will be required for the correct sizing of gearboxes and actuators if required.

    Maximum Working Pressure: 16 bar.
    2 Temperature Range: -10°C to+70°C. Insulation essential
    for temperatures of 0°C and below.

    APPLICABLE STANDARDS
    C Valves up to and including 600mm to BS 5163. Above this

    size to BS 5150. Coating: WRc approved.

    F Hydraulic test to BS 5163 (up to 600mm)- BS 5150 (over 600mm)
    Seat: 1.1 x PN Body: 1.5 x PN Operating torque test.
