    SAILOR 628x AIS System

    Subject:
    New software release version 3.10

    Priority:
    Mandatory: For new installations after 29th of August 2021, ensure that the software version
    is 3.10.
    Minor: For existing installations.

    Identification:
    This revised software identified as version 3.10 is released for the SAILOR 628x AIS series.
    The version 3.10 software introduces the Bridge Alert Management feature as per regulatory
    request:

    • BAM is implemented as per requirements


    o IEC 62923-1:2018 and IEC 62923-2:2018
    • Approved Interfaces
    o Light Weight Ethernet as per IEC 61162-450:2018
    o Serial as per IEC 61162-1:2016

    • Targets length/width not always listed on SAILOR 6004CP, this is corrected

    Important note:
    In order to support this SAILOR 628x AIS software version 3.10, the SAILOR 6004 Control
    Panel MUST run software version 2.10 or later. Also updated version “AIS App” must be
    installed on the 6004 Control Panel.
