Look now, imma tell y’all now
don’t be messing around with
the Indian chili pepper powder.
And I know you’re thinking ‘ I like
spicy ish.’. Well bish you won’t
necessarily like this. Indian chili
powder is like that friend you
playfully tap as you chuckle
about something and when they
tap you back it’s way too damn
hard. Good though. Gonna make
it again lol!

LOVED this recipe. Cut down on
the tomato sauce so it’s not as
acidic and add a bit of sugar to
balance out all the flavors. Also,
use chicken thighs for juicier
meat

I love this recipe! The few tweaks I made was
to let the chicken marinate longer (1-3 hours),
cook the onions first before adding the spice
mixture, and not add additional water.
Instead, use almost 1/2 cup cornstarch slurry
in place of it. Also, let it simmer low for an
hour to really develop the flavor. It makes the
sauce thicker and richer.

Let it simmer for at least 20 min without the
chicken so the sauce thickens and the
chicken doesn’t get over cooked.

I made this one time and will definitely cook it
again! Although to make this even more tasty
and add up legit flavor I suggest to put only
half of the cream and the other half alternate
with a can of coconut milk! I love coconuts!
And its absolutely amazing with curry <3 I
suggest everyone to try it :)

Personally I would use less
butter, not even for health
reasons- it just seemed like an
excessive amount and I prefer
mine to be a little bit on the
thicker side. Not as good as a
restaurant of course but still a
quick and simple way to get
butter chicken when you’re
craving it, hence the “easy” in
the title. It was delicious and will
definitely make again.

I made a roux with some butter and flour to
thicken the gravy up a bit.
