Detailed Presentation Scenario: Team-Building Training Course
1. Welcome and Course Introduction
Time: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM Content: o Greetings: Hello to all members! We are happy to see the overwhelming participation today. Today, we will explore and develop skills that are critical to the success of individuals and teams. o About Course Objectives: Strengthen team cohesion to be highly effective at work. Develop teamwork skills, including conflict resolution and joint decision-making. Improve communication efficiency so that members understand each other better. Identify the types of groups and the unique strengths of each. Master team management and leadership techniques, build problem-solving skills. o Course Overview: Today, we will have a variety of interactive activities and exercises. Don't hesitate to share your thoughts and contribute to the discussion!
2. Learn about workgroups
Time: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM Content: o Goal: Learn what makes a team productive and the stages of team development. o Introduction of the T1 model of team development (Forming - Storming - Norming - Performing): Forming Phase: Members meet, get to know each other, and begin to get to know each other. Storming Phase: Conflicts and disagreements begin to emerge, which is an important stage to lay the groundwork for the next steps. Norming Phase: Members begin to work in harmony, sharing a common goal. Performing Phase: The team works effectively and completes the work with team spirit. o Discussion: The whole team discusses and shares experiences about these stages, helping members better understand how they can support each other in each stage of development.
3. Learn team dynamics through practice
Time: 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Content: o Identify the types of groups: Discuss the three common types of groups and how they work in an organization: Traditional Teams: Teams that work with a clear structure and are led by one person. Self-Managed Teams: Teams that self-coordinate work and responsibilities. Electronic Teams: Teams that work remotely or via online platforms. o Small Group Activities: The groups are divided into three groups, each discussing how each type of group can apply in our company.
4. Group interaction exercises
Time: 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM Content: o Objective: Strengthen problem-solving skills and build team strategies. o Problem-solving activities: Teams will be assigned a real situation at work and must discuss and find solutions within a limited time. o Role-playing: Each team member will be assigned a leadership role, a team member to understand more about the roles of positions in a team. o Feedback: Teams will discuss their experiences in the problem- solving process and share lessons learned.
5. Lunch Break Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Content: Time to relax, help members socialize, rest and prepare for the afternoon.
6. Team building activities
Time: 12:45 PM - 2:30 PM Content: o Goal: Strengthen collaboration and trust among members through interactive games and exercises. o Activities: Some exercises such as "building a tower out of paper", "going through a wire network" to encourage members to coordinate and communicate effectively. o Discussion: After each exercise, the group will sit down to share their feelings, analyze the challenges and how each person faces difficulties in the group.
7. Develop leadership roles
Time: 2:30 PM - 3:45 PM Content: o Objective: Understand the leadership role and stages of the team's development. o Leadership Strategies: Introduce effective leadership strategies, including: Lead by example: How a leader's actions can impact the team. Supportive Leadership: Encourages personal growth within the team. Leadership through communication: Build a culture of open and supportive communication. o Leadership activities: Members take turns to play the role of team leaders in simulated activities, to practice effective management strategies.
8. Summarize and evaluate
Time: 3:45 PM - 5:00 PM Content: o Summary: Review the main content of the lesson, valuable lessons on team bonding, communication, and problem solving. o Gather feedback: Invite each member to share how they felt about the session and how today's activities impacted their thinking about teamwork. o Lessons learned: Focus on lessons learned from teamwork and methods of solving difficult situations.
9. Wrapping Up and Feedback
Time: 5:00 PM Content: o Acknowledgments: Thank you to the members for participating in the workshop and making positive contributions. o Feedback and suggestions: Give short survey questions to collect ideas for improvement for later training sessions. o Finish: Encourage people to apply the skills they have learned to their daily work to improve teamwork cohesion and effectiveness.
