Present Perfect Continuous Tense


A Busy Week for Sarah
Sarah has been having a very busy week. She has been working at her new job for five days, and every day
has been full of new experiences. She has been getting to know her colleagues and has been learning how to
use the office systems. Every morning, she has been arriving early to prepare for her tasks, and in the
afternoon, she has been working on several projects at the same time. Her manager has been giving her a lot
of responsibility, and Sarah feels excited but also a little overwhelmed.
After work, Sarah has been spending time with her friends. On Monday, she and her friends went to a
newrestaurant and tried some delicious food. On Tuesday, Sarah and her best friend have been walking in the
park and talking about their weekend plans. The weather has been nice, so they have been enjoying their time
outdoors.
Sarah has also been exercising regularly this week. She has been going to the gym every evening after
work and has been feeling much healthier. She has been working on getting stronger and improving her
fitness.Although it has been a busy week, Sarah has been feeling positive. She has been learning a lot at her
job and has been having fun with her friends. She hopes to continue this routine next week.

Whispering Woods
For a long time, people in the village have been talking about strange lights in the forest. They say
they have been seeing the lights at night. Some people think it is a ghost, but others think it is
something else.
Mr. Brown, the park ranger, has been going to the forest every evening. He has been looking for the
lights and trying to find out what is happening. He says he has been hearing strange sounds too, like
whispers in the trees.
A group of children has been walking into the forest to look for the lights. They have been taking
pictures and talking about what they see. One girl, Anna, thinks the lights might be a sign of treasure.
She has been reading stories about old treasure maps. The people in the village have been waiting to
find out the truth. They are not sure if the lights are dangerous or just strange.

been buying them in the airport shops after passing security.
