    Hello, Parents and Guardians.

    Greetings from your St. Augustine School Council! We hope your child
    is enjoying the school year at St. Augustine, and to all our new families,
    a heartfelt welcome.

    We at St. Augustine’s School Council are dedicated to improving our


    amazing school for our children. Last year, our school community

    After consulting with Principal Cocchetto and school staff, the St. School
    Augustine CHS Council will fundraise to support the requested school
    enhancements this year:
    Facility renewal of the Cafeteria Stage and Theatre classroom that will
    benefit ALL our students. The school needs to upgrade and install:
    LED stage lights, a lighting board, a sound system and
    communications equipment, a modern projector system, electrical
    wiring, new stage curtains, and flooring. The cafeteria stage and
    performance technology are used daily for drama classes, and 2188 Rodick Road

    throughout the year for school assemblies and guest speakers, L6C 1S3
    theatrical productions, Christmas and spring concerts, and many

    The current facility uses the original equipment from 2001 when the

    school opened. The school uses more funds each year to maintain and (905) 887-6163
    replace aging equipment. Schools newer than St. Augustine have
    entirely renovated their original equipment with modern technology Website:

    that is easier to use and provides greatly enhanced capabilities. This
    facility renewal will allow St. Augustine to continue providing our
    award-winning arts program and more effectively engage students in
    various academic and experiential learning activities.

    St. Augustine’s opened its doors in 2001, and if we are to continue to


    be considered one of the top secondary schools in Ontario, we need to
    fundraise for these much-needed improvements for our school.
    Please note that 100% of your donation goes towards this campaign to
    purchase these items, which benefit ALL our students. If every family
    donated $100.00 each, we could easily achieve our fundraising goal!
