10] Literature Review/ Theoretical Background –

It should include references of past work done in this area by other researchers. It
should be compiled to highlight its importance to the current study in case of research
based project.
In case of non-research based project it should include the theory of the topic on which
the student is working.
11] RESEARCH METHODOLOGY & DATA ANALYSIS –
(Only For Research Based Projects)

It should include –

1) Outline of the problem or task undertaken


2) Type of Research Design
3) Population
4) Sampling Technique
5) Sample size
6) Data- What is the data, whether primary or secondary
7) Data collection method used
8) Design of tool
9) Plan of analysis of data

12] Data Analysis Data Interpretation & Hypothesis testing [If required] –
Plan of the chapter- How the data is going to be analyzed
Analysis of data to be presented as per the requirement of the topic

13] Findings and Observations of the Student through the Project -

Findings should be well linked of the objectives and hypotheses of the project.
Observations should include the student’s analysis and interpretation of the findings.

14] Limitations of the project –

Every project is conducted under certain limitations arising out of geography, company
norms, time limitations. These should be mentioned here.

15] Suggestions & Recommendation


These should be based on the findings only. Suggestions which do not have a basis of the
analysis and findings of the current project should not be included here.

16] Conclusion and contribution to the host organization –

While concluding student should take care that his conclusion is matching with the title
of the project & objectives.

17] Summary (if required)

This should include in short the objectives, scope, analysis, findings and observations of
the student.

18] REFERENCES/BIBLIOGRAPHY IN (APA, MLA, HARWARD, CHICAGO STYLE


ETC) –

It include-
Articles, research articles, books & magazine used, web sites (paste complete URL here),
newspapers etc. Do not write Wikipedia as a reference.

If any technical & standard abbreviations used in the report, then please mention their full
form here.
