This research examines the profound e ects of climate change on coastal ecosystems,
focusing particularly on changes in sea level, temperature, and storm patterns. Coastal
ecosystems, including mangroves, coral reefs, and estuaries, are critical for biodiversity
and human livelihoods. However, rising sea levels and increased temperatures are altering
these habitats significantly. The research integrates data from satellite imagery, field
surveys, and historical records to analyze the transformations. Results indicate that many
coastal areas are experiencing accelerated erosion, habitat loss, and changes in species
composition. These changes have far-reaching implications not only for wildlife but also for
coastal communities that depend on these ecosystems for food, tourism, and protection
from storms. The study concludes with recommendations for mitigation strategies, such as
habitat restoration and coastal management practices, to preserve these vital ecosystems
in the face of ongoing climate change.
