UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME
The philosophy behind this programme takes cognizance of the fact that for
a developing country, the graduate engineer is likely to face all possible
engineering problems, many outside his specialty, the programme is
therefore broad based so as to give a mechanical or civil engineer for
example the basic principles and methods of electrical and mechanical
engineering. Thus, the emphasis in first two years of the programme is on
common basics covering all departments of the Faculty of Engineering.
