1. The ITF Offshore Standard CBA shall be considered to be incorporated into and to form part of the contract. Repatriation / Embarkation rules are in accordance to paragraph 22 of CBA.
2. The Ship’s Articles shall be deemed for all purposes to include the terms of this Contract (including ITF Offshore Standard CBA) and it shall be the duty of the Company to ensure that the
Ship’s Articles reflect these terms. These terms shall take precedence over all other terms.
3. The ITF may vary the terms and conditions of the ITF Offshore Standard CBA from time to time. Terms and conditions as so varied shall form part of this Contract with effect from the date
of the Variation in place of the Terms and Conditions current immediately preceding the Variation.
4. This Employment Contract shall be in substitution of any previous contracts, whether by way of letters of appointment, agreem ents or arrangements, whether written, oral or implied. The
Employee agrees that such prior contracts have no force or effect.
5. The Employer and the Employee recognize that work assignment may be on multiple vessels in group fleet during the employment term, these flying flag of variable states and thus
variable jurisdiction on board. In order to seek to reduce negative effects, variations in procedures and processes by law as well as finding an effective dispute resolution, the Employer
and the Employee agree that the law of the Republic of Cyprus shall govern these terms and the employment, and both parties agree to use Cyprus Courts as sole legal venue, including
rights to appeal to superior courts.
