    (Author biography)

    [1.] Huilong Dong received his PhD degree in materials science and engineering in
    from Soochow University in 2016. He is now a postdoctoral fellow in Youyong
    Li’s group.

    [2.] As early as 2012, Lou’s group synthesized hierarchiallyhierarchically structured


    Fe2O3 microboxes by simply annealing PB Pb microcubes.

    [3.] Kamalakannan Kailasam is working as an Associated Professor in at the Institute of


    Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali, Punjab, India.

    [4.] He obtained his PhD with Late Prof. Klaus Müller in at Universität Stuttgart,
    Germany in 2008 followed by a postdoctoral stint at Max Planck Institute for Colloids
    and Interfaces, Potsdam, Germany in the Colloid Chemistry dDepartment in 2009-–
    2010.

    [5.] She is now an associated professor at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental
    Sciences.

    [6.] He is has been a Pprofessor in Aanalytical Cchemistry at Ain Shams University since
    Jan 2016.

    [7.] His research interests includes proton-conductive metal-–organic frameworks,


    hydroxide ion-conductive metal–-organic frameworks, ion-conduction in nano-
    structured materials, novel hybrid catalysts of metal nano particles and metal–-organic
    frameworks, and flow reactors such as fuel cells and electrolyzers.

    [8.] Very earlyPreviously, several groups have made great efforts in order to artificially
    modulate the cellular glycosylation.

    [9.] His research interest is focused on the polymer dielectrics with high energy
    storage density.

    [10.] She holds 28 Chinese patents, and 1 U.S. patent and has presented over 45
    invite talks in international academic conferences.

    [11.] He is Associate Editor of the journal Electroanalysis, and Vvice-president of


    the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry and since 2017 has been a Ffellow of
    the International Society of Electrochemistry since 2017.

    [12.] He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in at the School of Materials Science and


    Engineering at the Northwestern Polytechnical University under the supervision
    of Prof. Mei Hui.

    [13.] He obtained his M.Phil. degree of on the microbiological transformation of


    organic molecules from the University of Sussex (UK) with under the
    supervision of Prof. Dr JR Hanson.
    [14.] He received the bBest yYoung sScientist aAward from the Czech Academy of
    Science (2007), serves in editorial boards of Chemosphere, ESPR, and ESEU, and is
    actively involved in international societies and networks like SETAC or and
    CYANOCOST.

    [15.] Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Mayo Clinic with


    Prof. Yuan-Ping Pang (2007–2008). He returned to the Lanzhou University as a
    lecturer and was then appointed to Aassociate pProfessor in 2009 and a fFull
    pProfessor in 2014.
