Azure reservation - yearly plans

azure in csp - third party helper
pay as you go -
Vm scale set - create and manage group of load balance Vms
azure function - snippt of code
azure logic apps - prebiult code just integrate
power automation - for customizes withput any code
azure auomation -mangae and deploye of resorces( poweshell, programming used)
logic apps - integrating codes with other services ND APPL
high avalibility -
scalibility - one time need increase or derease
hori - no.
verti - power
agility - accordity to me
elasticity - dynamic need
networj security grouo - traffic rules

monitor - monitor services like cosmo dbs, vms
version control- mangae code git
pipeling - helps in code
Locally redundant storage (LRS) copies your data synchronously three times within a
single physical location in the primary region. LRS is the least expensive
replication option but is not recommended for applications requiring high
availability.
Zone-redundant storage (ZRS) copies your data synchronously across three Azure
availability zones in the primary region. For applications requiring high
availability.
Geo-redundant storage (GRS) copies your data synchronously three times within a
single physical location in the primary region using LRS. It then copies your data
asynchronously to a single physical location in a secondary region that is hundreds
of miles away from the primary region.
Geo-zone-redundant storage (GZRS) copies your data synchronously across three Azure
availability zones in the primary region using ZRS. It then copies your data
asynchronously to a single physical location in the secondary region.

Standard General-Purpose V2 Accounts - Standard General-Purpose V2 Accounts support

the latest Azure Storage features and incorporate all the functionality of General-
Purpose V1 Accounts and Blob Storage Accounts. Standard General-Purpose V2 Accounts
deliver the lowest per-gigabyte capacity prices for Azure Storage, as well as
industry-competitive transaction process.

Premium Block Blobs - “Premium Block Blob” Storage Accounts are ideal for storing
“Text” or “Binary” Files, and, for uploading Large Files efficiently.“Premium Block
Blob” Storage Accounts make data available via “High Performance Hardware”. Data is
stored on “Solid State Drives” (SSDs), which are “Optimized” for “Low Latency”.
SSDs provide higher throughput, compared to traditional “Hard Drives”.In “Premium
Block Blob” Storage Accounts, the “File Transfer” is much “Faster” because the data
is stored on the “Instantly Accessible Memory Chips”.

Premium File Shares - “Premium File Shares” Storage Accounts are ideal for File
Shares only. This type of Storage Account is recommended for “Enterprise” or “High-
Performance” Scale Applications. The “Premium File Shares” Storage Accounts should
be used only if there is a requirement to create a Storage Account that supports
both the “Server Message Block” (SMB) and “NFS File Shares”. This type of Storage
Account is available with “Premium” Performance Tier.

Premium Page Blobs - “Premium Page Blobs” Storage Accounts are ideal for storing
“Index-Based” and “Sparse” Data Structures, like - “OS” and “Data Disks” for
“Virtual Machines” and “Databases”, because “Page Blobs” are a “Collection” of 512-
byte Pages that provides the ability to “Read” / “Write” the “Arbitrary Ranges of
Bytes”. Example - “Azure SQL DB” uses the “Page Blobs” as the underlying
“Persistent Storage” for its “Database”. “Page Blobs” are often used for “Files”
with “Range-Based
This type of Storage Account is available with “Premium” Performance Tier.
“Restriction” of the “Premium Page Blobs” Storage Account - “Premium Page Blobs”
Storage Account can only use the “Hot” Access Tier, and, cannot use either the
“Cool” or “Archive” Access Tiers.

App Service Plan Tiers usage

Microsoft is advising on how / when you should the different App Servicev Plan
tiers:

Free -> test and discover the hosting service

Shared -> basic apps with low traffic and not business critical
Basic -> dev and test of apps before production
Standard -> apps in production
Premium -> large scale apps in production

Traffic Manager:- Distributes traffic across multiple geographic regions.Global

DNS-based traffic routing.Directing users to the best-performing or geographically
closest endpoint.

Load Balancer:- Distributes network traffic across multiple servers within a

region.Balancing incoming traffic within a specific region to prevent overloading a
single server.

Gateway:- Establishes secure site-to-site, point-to-site, and VNet-to-VNet

connections.Establishing secure connections and managing application traffic with
advanced routing and security.

DNS Zone: - Domain name management.Hosts DNS records for a domain, enabling name
resolution for internet or internal services.Managing the DNS records for domain
name resolution and integration with Azure services.

Network Security Groups (NSGs):- NSGs are designed to filter network traffic to and
from Azure resources within an Azure virtual network. They provide a basic level of
network security and are used primarily for controlling inbound and outbound
traffic at the subnet or network interface level.

Azure Firewall:- Azure Firewall is a managed, cloud-based network security service

that protects your Azure Virtual Network resources. It provides a more
comprehensive set of security features compared to NSGs, including application and
network-level protection.
