Last week I took a journey deep into space, to the end of the solar system, and was pulled into a black hole.

Then, I took a trip to Brazil and experienced surviving an airplane crash in the jungle. After that, I joined some

divers and went to the bottom of the ocean to see strange blind creatures that have never seen sunlight. For a break,

I took part in some car racing and then skied down some of the most difficult mountains around the world. I did all

this in one great day at Futuroscope.

(1)自由词素和黏着词素

自由词素(free morphemes) 可以单独出现,能够独立构


成单词。例如:dog, mooncake

粘着词素(bound morphemes)无法单独出现,必须依赖
于其它词素,只能成为词的一部分。(词缀、词根)
(2) 词根、词缀
词根(root)是一个单词去掉所有词缀之后剩余的部分。
不能在不破坏意义的前提下继续拆分。
例如:friendships,词根为friend

词缀(affix)是只能附加在另一个词素上构成单词的词素。
分为前缀(prefix)、后缀(suffix)和中缀(infix)
(3) 屈折词缀和派生词缀
屈折词缀(inflectional affix):在词干后添加,形成该词
干不同形式的词缀,改变该词的语法属性,不构成新词汇。
例:-s, -ing, -ed, -er, -est。
apple-apples; work-works; do-doing; work-worked; fast-
faster-fastest
屈折词缀只有后缀形式。
派生词缀(derivational affix):在词干前后添加的词缀,
通常能够改变原词干的意义和词性。
例:in-, dis-, un-, -ness, -ful, -able
direct-indirect
able-disable
happy-unhappy
happy-happiness
• 表示反义
前缀:ab-, anti-, counter-, de-, dis-, il- im-, mis-, non-,
un-;
后缀:-proof

• 表示时间
前缀:ex-, fore-, pre-, pro-;

表示数
前缀:semi-, uni-, bi-, tri-, centi-, kilo-, milli-, multi-;
• 动词化

前缀:en-

后缀:-en, -ify, -ize, -ate;

• 名词化

后缀:-an, -ant, -ee, -eer, -er, -ess, -ese, -ist, -ency, -dom,
-hood, -tion, -sion, -ment, -ship, -ness

• 形容词化

后缀:-able, -ible, -ed, -ing, -ful, -ish, -less, -like, -ous;


词汇教学(suffix)

the words that you are unfamiliar with.
