    A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY 10% (SK) FUND


    AND ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025

    WHEREAS, as mandated by the law, the ten percent (10%) of the general fund
    of the barangay is set as SK Fund for different programs, projects,
    and activities of the Barangay;

    WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 329 of RA No. 7160 and section 20 (a)
    of RA No.10742, ten percent (10%) of the general fund of the
    barangay shall be set aside for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK).
    The Sangguniang Barangay shall appropriate the SK funds in lump
    – sum which shall be disbursed solely for youth development and
    empowerment purposes;

    WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan is tasked to initiate programs design to


    enhance the social, political, economic, cultural, intellectual, moral,
    spiritual and physical development of the youth;

    WHEREAS, in Section 4 of R.A No. 11768, amending Section 16 of the SK


    Reform Act of 2015 (R.A No. 10742), in so far as pertinent,
    provides the SK members, including the SK Treasurer and
    Secretary, shall receive a monthly honorarium, chargeable against
    the SK funds.

    WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. _________and the Sangguniang Kabataan


    present, be it;

    RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED approving the ten percent (10%) of the


    general fund of the Barangay _______as SK Fund for FY 2025 in
    the amount of Four Hundred One Thousand Three Hundred
    Twenty-two Pesos (₱401,322) summarized as follows;

    I. RECEIPT PROGRAM
    Ten percent (10%) of the General Fund of the Barangay ₱401,322.00
    Receipt from fund raising activities -

    TOTAL ESTIMATED FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR APPROPRIATION ₱401,322.00

    RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the
    DILG and other concerned offices for favorable
    consideration and approval;

    RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished to the MLGOO for
    information and references.
