 RULES & REGULATIONS
All participants must carry their College ID cards and Aadhaar Cards in physical form.
They would also be crucial during the registration process as well as while entering the
institute. After the payment of registration fees,participants should follow the
guidelines mentioned for their registration to be confirmed. In case of non-compliance,
Team AARAMBH would not be responsible for any refund of the fee.

Any dangerous objects, lasers, or objects deemed illegal will not be allowed inside the
campus.

Any damage to the college infrastructure or the facilities provided to the participants will
be treated as a grave offense and might lead to a monetary fine.

No refund of fee for any events/activities would be processe

Event rules and regulations are subject to modifications as per the discretion of the
organizing committee before, during, and after the event.

In case of any disputes/conflicts, the decision taken by Team AARAMBH will be deemed final
and binding

Any gestures/speeches/acts/ideas of ensive to any gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or

religious sentiments shall lead to disqualification. Team AARAMBH might additionally levy a
penalty for the same

All participants are required to cooperate with the organizing committee and the volunteer
team .

Possession or Consumption of alcohol/drugs is strictly prohibited. Team AARAMBH

welcomes you to their SPORTS FEST. All preparations are keeping in view the needs and
demands of time. Rules and regulations mentioned here forth may amend if found
necessary by the organizing committe

 Rules & Regulation

1. Cricket
All members of the team should be of same college.
11 players per team 4 substitution will be allowed.
10 over per innings.
Umpires decision will be final, any argument over umpire's decision will not be
tolerated and severe action will be taken.
Minimum 3 bowlers should be used compulsory.

2. Volleyball
A minimum team of 6 should be present maximum of 8 players.
A maximum of 3 substitutes.
Rotation preferable though depends on teams (international rotation rules
apply).
Standard size ground and net height.
Substitutions as per international rules.
All the matches will be 3-set match, with each set will be played for 15 points. 7.
Final will be 5-set match.
Rally scoring to be used in all matches.
The referee's decision shall be considered final.

3. Badminton
Final match will be best of three sets, each set being a race to 11 points.
All league matches will be knock-out matches.
In case of conflict the decision of the event coordinator will be final and bindin

4. Kabaddi
Each team shall consist of no more than 12 players with only 7 taking on the field at
one time.
The duration of the match is two halves of 20 minutes with a half time break of 5
minute.
To prove that another breath hasn't been taken, the rider must continue to
repeatedly yell the word kabaddi
 6. Tug of war
Types of tournament: Separate team for Boys & Girls.
There will be 3 matches per pair of teams, in knockout, semifinal as well as final
rounds, and the team which wins 2 out of 3 matches will be declared the winner.
All the decisions of the referee will be final.
The rope is marked with a “center line” and two markings six meters either side of
the center line.
The rope must be under the arms. Actions like pulling rope over shoulders will be
considered foul.
No knots or loops may be made in the rope, nor may it be locked across any part of
the body of any member of the team. Crossing of the rope over oneself constitutes a
loop.

7. Kho kho
A team of 9 players are required to participate in the event.
The name of the 9 main players will be submitted by the captain 15 min before the
commencement of the match.
All the decisions of referee shall be final and binding to all.
Other rules will be announced on the spot

8. Shot Put
When an athlete's name is announced, he or she will be having only 60 seconds to
commence the throwing motion.
For safety purpose, the players can tape their fingers but they certainly cannot wear
gloves.
The resting position of the shot is near the neck and it should remain over there
throughout the motion.

9. Basketball
The general rules of game are to be followed.
All rounds will be knock out rounds.
Basketball players cannot kick the ball or hit it with their fist.
No player can touch the basketball while it is traveling downward towards the basket
 11. Carrom
Each team will consist of two players.
The general rules of the game are to be followed

13. Table tennis

The general rules of the game are to be followed

14. Chess
It is an event for both UG and PG students.
The general rules of the game are to be followed
In case of conflict the decision of the event coordinator will be final and binding.

15. Arm wrestling

The general rules of the game are to be followed
In case of conflict the decision of the event coordinator will be final and binding.

16. Athletics
All the general rules will be followed.
For individual events a max of 2 participants can participate .
For team events only one team per college will be allowed.
