‫ُس ْبَحاَن اَّلِذ ي َس َّخ َر َلَن ا َه َذ ا َو َم ا‬
‫ُكَّنا َلُه ُم ْق ِر ِنيَن َو ِإَّنا ِإَلى َر ّبَن ا‬
ِ ‫َلُم ْنَق ِلُبوَن‬
Glory be to Allah, He has given control and without His
power we would not have any control Without doubt we are
to return to him

‫اْلَح ْم ُد ِلَّلِه اْلَح ْم ُد ِلَّلِه اْلَح ْم ُد ِلَّلِه‬

All praise be to Allah

‫الَّلُه َأْكَبر الَّلُه َأْكَبر الَّلُه َأْكَبر‬

Allah is the greatest

‫ُس ْبَحاَنَك ِِإّني َظ َلْم ُت َنْفِس ي َفاْغِفْر‬

‫ُّذ‬
‫ِلي َفِإَّنُه اَل َيْغِفُر ال نُو َب ِإاَّل َأْنَت‬
O Allah, You are pure, surely I have oppressed myself so forgive
me for You are the only One who forgives sins

 ِ ‫ال ُهـَّم‬
‫َهّوْن َع َلـْيَن ا َس َفَر َنا ٰه َذ ا َو اْط ِو‬ ‫ّل‬
‫ الّلُه ـَّم َأْنـَت الَّص ـاِح ُب‬،‫َع َّنا ُبْع ـَده‬
. ‫ َو اْلَخ لِـْيَفُة ِفْي اَألْه ـِل‬،‫ِفي الَّس ـَفر‬
O Allah, lighten this journey for us and make its distance easy for
us. O Allah, You are our Companion on the road and the One in
whose care we leave our family

Makkah
Intentions

Going to the house of Allah

To attain guidance
To attain complete forgiveness
To attain whatever is pouring on the kaaba
24/7/365
To attain the pleasure and recognition of
Allah swt

 Umrah
Wear the ihraam
Read 2 rakaats salaatul ihraam
(sunnah)
Men to cover the hair for salaah and remove covering
before intention of umrah

Niyyah
ِ ‫الَّلُهَّم ِإّن ِْي ُأِر ْيُد اْلُع ْم َر َة َفَي‬
‫ّس ْر َها‬
‫ِلْي َو َتَق َّبْلَه ا ِمّن ِْي‬
O Allah, I intend to perform Umrah,
so accept it from me and make it easy for me.

Talbiyah
‫َلَّبْيَك َاَّللُه َّم َلَّبْيَك‬
‫َلَّبْيَك اَل َش ِر ْيَك َلَك َلَّبْيَك‬
‫ِإَّن اْلَح ْم َد َو الِّنْع َم َة َلَك َو اْلُم ْلَك‬
‫اَل َش ِر ْيَك َلَك‬
Here i am. Oh Allah, here I am.
Here i am, You have no partner, here i am
Verily all praise , favor and authority belongs to you. You have
no partner

Only after reciting talbiyah does
one enter the state of ihram
Talbiyah and Niyyah can be made
just before the meeqat.
Talbiyah should be recited
continiously until one sees the kaaba
and all laws of ihram must be
adhered to.
When one sees the kaaba talbiyah
must stop.Duaa on first sighting of
kaaba are accepted. Make sincere
duaa to hearts content.
Proceed towards the green light
(Hajre Aswad) to begin tawaaf.
Men should have the right shoulder
uncovered for the first 3 rounds of
tawaaf and ramal (walking briskly
with chest out)should be made.

 Niyyah for Tawaaf
‫ُأ‬
‫الَّلُه َّم ِإّنْي ِر ْيُد َط َو اَف َبْيِتَك اْلَح َر اِم‬
‫َفَيّس ْر َها ِلْي َو َتَق َّبْلَه ا ِمّن ْي َس ْبَع َة َاْش َو اٍط‬
‫ِلَّلِه َتَعاَلى‬
Oh Allah I intend performing tawaaf of Your sacred house, so
make my tawaaf easy for me and accept it from me.
Seven rounds for Allah the most high
When in line with the Hajre Aswad
and green light , facing the kaaba one
should raise hands and recite the
istilaam and then kiss them.
Istilaam
‫ َو ِلَّلِه اْلَح ْم ُد‬، ‫ َالّٰلُه َاْكَبُر‬،‫ِبْس ِم الّٰلُه‬
In the name of Allah, Allah is the greatest and all praise belongs
to Allah
Tawaaf now begins, complete 7
rounds , each round with istilaam at
haajre aswad and at the end complete
with an 8th istilaam
Between rukn yamani and hajre
aswad rabbana should be read

 ‫َر َّبَن ا آِتَن ا ِفي الُّدْنَيا َح َس َن ًة َو ِفي‬
‫اآْل ِخ َر ِة َح َس َن ًة َو ِقَن ا َع َذ اَب الَّناِر‬
Men should now cover shoulders for
salaah.
Once tawaaf has been completed,
proceed to read 2 rakaats wajibut
tawaaf. It is sunnah to be read behind
the maqaame ibrahim but can be
read anywhere. Sunnah surahs to be
recited - Surah Kaafiroon and Surah
Ikhlaas.
After salaah and duaa, proceed to
drink zamzam to ones fill and hearts
content.
Duaa for Zamzam
‫الَّلُه َّم ِإّني َأْس َأُلَك ِع ْلًم ا َناِفًع ا َو‬
‫ِر ْز ًقا َو اِس ًع ا َو ِش َفاًء ِمْن ُكّل َداٍء‬
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, provision
that is abundant and a cure from every illness.

 One should proceed to line up with
the haajre aswad even from a
distance to make a 9th istilaam.
Now proceed to make saee beginning
at Mount Safa
Recite as approaching or on mount
safa

‫ِإَّن الَّص َفا َو اْلَم ْر َو َة ِمن َش َعاِئِر الَّله‬

Indeed, Safa and Marwa are from the Signs of Allah.

Niyyah for Saee

‫ِاّن ُاِر ْيُد الَّس ْع َي َبْيَن الَّص َفا‬

ِ ‫َال ُه َّم‬
‫َّل‬
‫َو اْلَم ْر َو َة َس ْبَع َة َاْش َو اٍط ِلَّلِه َع َّز َوَج َّل‬
ِ ‫َفَيّس ْر َها ِلْي َو َتَق َّبْلَه ا ِِمّن ْي‬
Oh Allah, i intend perfoming sa'ee between safa and marwa,
seven rounds for Allah, make it easy for me and accept it
from me

 Duaa to make at Safa

‫ َو ِلّٰلِه‬، ‫ َالّٰلُه َأْكَبُر‬، ‫ َالّٰلُه َأْكَبُر‬، ‫َالّٰلُه َأْكَبُر‬

‫اْلَح ْم ُد‬
Allah is the greatest; Allah is the greatest; Allah is the
greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise.

‫ َلُه‬،‫ال ِإَلَه ِإَّال الَّلُه َو ْح َد ُه َال َش ِر يَك َلُه‬

‫ َو ُهَو‬، ‫اْلُم ْلُك َو َلُه اْلَح ْم ُد ُيْح ِي ي َو ُيِميُت‬
‫َع َلى ُكّل َش ْي ٍء َق ِد يٌر‬
There is no deity except Allah, alone without a partner. To Him
belongs the Dominion, and to Him belongs all praise. He gives
life and death and He has power over everything.

‫ َاْنَج َز َو ْع َد ُه‬، ‫اَل ِإَلَه ِإاَّل َالَّلُه َو ْح َد ُه‬

‫َو َنَص َر َعْبَد ُه َو َه َزَم َاَأْلْحَز اَب َو ْح َد ُه‬
There is no deity except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise,
supported His slave and defeated the confederates alone.

Duaa should be made at each
mountain facing the qiblah.
Any form of duaa or zikr can be made
between safah and marwah.
One should ponder over ones
meekness, humbleness and need for
Allah swt in difficulties and ease as
Hajar (AS) experienced.
After 7 rounds are complete ending
at Marwah, proceed to shave/cut hair.
Once hair is removed or cut you are
now out of ihraam
Your UMRAH is now complete

‫َتَق َّبَل الّلُه‬

 ‫‪Tawaaf‬‬
‫‪Zikr and duaa ideas for tawaaf‬‬

‫ُس ْبَحاَن الَّلِه َواْلَح ْم ُد ِلَّلِه َو َال ِإَلَه ِإَّال الَّلُه َوالَّلُه‬
‫َأْكَبُر َو َال َح ْو َل َو َال ُقَّوَة ِإَّال ِبالَّله‬

‫َال ِإَلَه ِإَّال الَّلُه َو ْح َد ُه َال َش ِر يَك َلُه‪َ ،‬لُه اْلُم ْلُك ‪،‬‬
‫َو َلُه اْلَح ْم ُد ‪َ ،‬و ُهَو َع َلى ُكِّل َش ْى ٍء َق ِد يٌر‏‬
‫ُس ْبَحاَن الَّلِه َو ِبَح ْم ِد ِه‪ُ ،‬س ْبَحاَن الَّلِه الَعِظيم‬

‫ۡل ُهَو ٱلَّلُه َأَح ٌد ‪ ; ١ .‬ٱلَّلُه ٱلَّص َم ُد ‪َ ; ٢ .‬لۡم‬

‫ُق‬
‫َيِلۡد َو َلۡم ُيوَلۡد‪َ ; ٣ .‬و َلۡم َيُكن َّلُهۥ ُكُفًوا َأَح ُۢد ‪٤ .‬‬
‫َّال ِإَلـَه ِإَّال َأنَت ُس ْبَحـَن َك ِإّن ِى ُكنُت ِمَن‬
‫الَّظ ـِلِميَن‬

‫َاَّللَُّه م إِني أْس أُلَك اْلَع ْفَو َواْلَعاِفِي ة ِفي الُّدْنَيا‬

‫َواآْل ِخ َر ة‬
‫صلى الله عليه وسلم‬
‫َر َّبَن آ َء اِتَن ا ِفى ٱلُّدْنَيا َح َس َن ًة َوِفى‬
‫ٱْلَٔـاِخ َر ِة َح َس َن ًة َو ِقَن ا َع َذ اَب ٱلَّناِر‬

Intentions
To visit Nabi ‫ﷺ‬.
To make salaam to the BEST of ALL
creation
To make intention to follow all the
sunnah of Nabi ‫ﷺ‬.
To refresh imaan and visit the places
Nabi ‫ ﷺ‬visited.
For the pleasure of Allah

Enroute to Madina
Ponder over the difficulty of the hijra
of Nabi‫ﷺ‬
Recite 1000 x's Surah Kauthar (‫ِإَّنٓا‬
‫ )َأۡع َط ۡي َٰن َك ٱۡلَكۡو َثَر‬and convey this as a
gift to Nabi‫ﷺ‬
Durood in abundance

‫الَّص لَو ُة َو الَّس َالُم َع َلْيَك َيا َس ِّيِد ى َيا َر ُس ْوُل الله‬
‫الَّص لَو ُة َو الَّس َالُم َع َلْيَك َيا َس ِّيِد ى َيا َنِب َّى الله‬
‫الَّص لَو ُة َو الَّس َالُم َع َلْيَك َيا َس ِّيِد ى َيا َح ِب ْيَب الله‬
‫ّيِد ى َيا َس ِّيَد‬ ‫الَّص لَو ُة َو الَّس َالُم َع َلْيَك َيا َس ِ‬
‫اْلُم ْر َس ِلْيَن َوَر ْح َم ُة اللِه َو َبَر َكاُتُه‬

‫‪One should revive their imaan‬‬

‫آلِالَه ِاَّالاللُه ُم َح َّم ُد الَر ُس ْوُل الله‬
‫َاْش َه ُد َأْن اَل إَلَه ِإاَّل الَّلُه َو ْح َد ُه اَل َش ِر يَك َلُه‬
‫وَأْش َه ُد َأَّن ُم َح َّم ًد ا َعْبُد ُه َوَر ُس و ُلُه‬
‫َر ِضْيُت ِبالَّلِه َر َّبا َو ِباِاْلْس اَل ِم ِد ْيَن ا َو ِبُم َح َّم ٍد ﷺ‬
‫ِنِب َّيا َوَر ُس وَل‬

 Ask Nabi ‫ ﷺ‬for intercession
‫َش َفاَع ْت َيا َخ اَتُم اَالْنِب َيا‬
‫َش َفاَع ْت َيا َح ِب ْيَب الله‬
‫َش َفاَع ْت َيا َنِب َّى الله‬
‫ َأْس َأُلَك الَّش َفاَع َة‬،‫َيا َر ُس ْو َل اللِه‬
‫َو َأَتَو َّس ُل ِبَك ِإَلى اللِه َأْن َأُم ْو َت‬
‫ُم ْس ِلَم ًا َع َلى ِمَّلِتَك َو ُس َّنِتَك‬
O Rasulullah! I request your intercession, and I ask Allah,
through you, to enable me to die on your religion and your
Sunnah.
Salaam to Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA)
‫َأ‬ ‫ُم‬
‫الَّس اَل َعلْيَك َيا َبا َبْكٍر‬
‫الَّس اَل ُم َعلْيَك َيا َخ ِلْيَفَة َر ُس ْو ِل اللِه‬
‫َالَّس اَل ُم َعلْيَك َيا َص اِح َب َر ُس ْو ِل اللِه ِفْي‬
‫اْلَغاِر َأَبا َبْكٍر الِّص ِّدْيَق َوَر ْح َم ُة اللِه َوَبَر َكاُتُه‬
‫ُأ‬
‫َج َز اَك اللُه َعْن َّمِة ُم َح َّم ٍد َخ ْيَر ًا‬
Peace be upon you, O Abu Bakr.
Peace be upon you O Caliph of Rasulullah.
Peace be upon you O companion of Rasulullah in the cave,
Abu Bakr Siddiq.
May Allah reward you well on behalf of the Ummah of
Muhammad.

 Salaam to Hazrat Umar (RA)
‫الَّس اَل ُم َعلْيَك َياُع َم ُر‬
‫الَّس اَل ُم َعلْيَك َيا َأِمْيَر اْلُم ْؤ ِمِنْيَن‬
‫الَّس اَل ُم َعلْيَك َيا ِع َّز اِإْل ْس اَل ِم َو اْلُم ْس ِلِمْيَن‬
‫ُع َمَر ْبِن الَخ َّط اِب اْلَفاُر ْو َق َوَر ْح َم ُة اللِه‬
‫ُأ‬
‫َوَبَر َكاُتُه َج َز اَك اللُه َع ْن َّمِة ُم َح َّم ٍد َخ ْيرًا‬
Peace be upon you, O Umar.
Peace be upon you O leader of the faithful.
Peace be upon you O pride of Islam and Muslims,Umar
ibn al-Khattab al-Faruq.
And the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
May Allah reward you well on behalf of the Ummah of
Muhammad.

Salaam to both Khalifas

‫َالَّس اَل ُم عَلْيُكَم ا َيا َض ِج ْيَع ْي َر ُس ْو ِل اللِه‬

‫َوَر ِفْيَق ْيِه َوَو ِز ْيَر ْيِه‬
‫َوَج َز اُكَم ا اللُه َأْح َس َن اْلَج َز اِء‬

Peace be upon you o resters next to Rasulullah, his two

companions and ministers.
And May Allah reward the two of you an excellent reward.

 Conveying the salaam of others
.......‫الَّس اَل ُم َع َلْيَك َيا َر ُس ْو َل اللِه ِمْن‬
Peace be upon you O Messenger of Allah from.....

‫الَّس اَل ُم َع َلْيَك َيا َر ُس ْو َل اللِه ِمْن َج ِمْيِع َم ْن‬

‫َأْو َص اِنِي ِبالَّس اَل ِم‬
Peace be upon you O Messenger of Allah. May peace be on you for
all those who requested me to convey salam.

One should then recite the following

facing the mubarak grave and then
facing qiblah make duaa to Allah swt
‫الَّس اَل ُم َع َلْيَك َيا َر ُس ْو َل اللِه َس ِم ْع ُت اللَه‬
‫َيُق ْوُل “َو َلْو َأَّنُه ْم ِإْذ َظ َلُم وا َأْنُفَس ُه ْم َجاُءوَك‬
‫َفاْس َتْغَفُر وا الَّلَه َو اْس َتْغَفَر َلُهُم الَّر ُس وُل‬
‫َلَوَج ُد وا الَّلَه َتَّواًبا َر ِحيًم ا” َو َق ْد ِج ْئُتَك‬
‫ُم ْس َتْغِفَر ًا ِمْن َذْنِب ْي ُم ْس َتْش ِفَعًا ِبَك ِإلى َر ِّبْي‬
Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah! I heard Allah
saying (in His Book):“And if, when they wronged
themselves, they had come to you, (O Muhammad), and
asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked
forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah
”.accepting of repentance and Merciful
And I have come to You repenting from my sins and
.seeking your intercession to my Lord

 Duaa for entering the musjid

.. ‫ الَّلُه َّم َص ّل ِ َع َلى ُم َح َّم ٍد‬،‫ِبْس ِم اللِه‬

‫الَّلُه َّم اْغِفْر ِلي َو اْفَتْح ِلي َأْبَواَب‬
‫َر ْح َم ِتك‬
In the name of Allah, send blessings upon
Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬. O Allah, open for me the
doors of Your Bounty.

Duaa for leaving the musjid

‫َالّٰلُه َّم إّن ِي َأْس َأُلَك ِمْن َفْض ِلَك‬
O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me.
