The Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research, and
Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE) is pleased to announce a highly
successful summer placement season for the 2023-2025 batch, surpassing
the high standards set over the past four decades. The summer internship
program, a cornerstone of our B-School curriculum, provides invaluable
exposure to real-world business practices, fostering a comprehensive
understanding of the corporate environment for our management students.

During this placement season, our first-year students secured a wide range
of opportunities with leading multinational corporations and top Indian
business houses. Despite the hybrid nature of internships, conducted both
online and offline, SIMSREE's placement performance significantly
surpassed that of the previous year. Renowned companies from various
sectors including BFSI, Advertising, FMCG, Consulting, Pharma, IT, and more
offered internships to the class of 2023-25.

This remarkable achievement reflects the unwavering dedication of

SIMSREE's faculty. Their industry expertise and ability to impart insightful
knowledge prepare students to excel in the competitive business world. It
further underscores the institute's exceptional talent pool and its

Dear Friends,
It gives me a sense of pride and immense pleasure to endorse the work done
by the Placement Cell of SIMSREE. The perseverant efforts of the cell enable
the students to be industry-ready professionals and fortify their corporate
interface. The various workshops, seminars, guest lectures by eminent
industrialists, and job fairs that are conducted by the cell enable the
students to develop the right skill set to enhance their employability index.
Due to evolutionary changes in the corporate world, there has been an
exemplary shift in the recruiting policies of the industry. Hence it’s the need
of the hour to create a talent pool of students by augmenting their expertise
and grooming them as per the industry requirement. The SIMSREE
Placement Cell creates a liaison between the student and the industry by
inviting reputed corporate recruiters for campus interviews. Over the years
we have achieved an exceptional placement record with the partaking of
prominent organizations with premier pay packages. An attitude of gratitude
towards various recruiting organizations for their constant support to us. We
are very delighted to present students equipped with abilities and zeal who

At SIMSREE, our strong culture of experiential academic learning combined
with practical corporate insights makes us a top choice for recruiters, even in
challenging times.

This year, we welcomed a diverse set of companies, including first-time

recruiters and startups like Britannia, CareEdge, Toshniwal Equity Services
Pvt. Ltd., and ValueAdd Research and Analytics Solutions reflecting our
growing brand value.

Prestigious firms such as Deloitte, ION Group, Jio Creative Labs, NVS
Brokerage Pvt. Ltd., and Piramal Group visited our campus, affirming
SIMSREE as their preferred hiring ground.

Regular recruiters like Barclays, CRISIL, GEP, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and
Morgan Stanley continued their participation, showcasing their enduring
confidence in SIMSREE and our students.

Students gained hands-on experience through live projects with companies

such as COTAAP, Unnati Associates, and Zillionite, preparing them to tackle
real-world challenges. Guest lectures by industry leaders from Anrontt,
Barclays, and WTW provided our students with valuable insights into various
topics, enriching their learning experience.

We are committed to sustaining this momentum in the upcoming placement

In the Finance domain, students were offered roles including Business
Strategy, Equity Research Analyst, Risk & Financial Advisory, Investment
Banking, Investment Research, Fixed Income Analyst, ESG Research, and
Portfolio Advisory. Additionally, profiles such as Non-Market Risk Intern,
Business Management - Global Markets, Investment Management Analyst,
and Credit Underwriting were available, providing a comprehensive view of
the financial sector's multifaceted nature.

MARKETING
The Marketing domain saw remarkable involvement from the industry,
offering a plethora of roles that highlighted the sector's dynamic and
innovative environment. Students could explore profiles such as Business
Development, Marketing Strategy, Business Expansion Strategy, Corporate
Market Research, Business Analyst, Customer Relationship Management,
Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Market Research, Social Media & Content
Strategy, Product Development and Product Management.

HR & OPERATIONS
In the HR and Operations domain, the roles offered emphasized the
importance of people management and operational efficiency. Profiles
included Talent Management, HR Analytics, HR Strategy, Operations
Executive, and Supply Chain Analytics. Other notable roles such as
Consultant, Project Management, Legal & Operational Risk, Information
Security, GAP Analysis Executive, Client Management, and Regulatory
Compliance were also presented, highlighting the sector's diverse
requirements and the critical nature of support functions in business
operations.

Guest lectures at SIMSREE are essential for forging strong relationships with
reputable organizations and offering students a deep understanding of
various corporate sectors. These sessions provide valuable insights into
industries like investment banking, insurance, and human resource
management.

Notable guest lectures at SIMSREE included a session by Anrontt on Human

Resource Management, which covered essential HR qualities, key functions,
role hierarchy, and career growth within organizations. Barclays presented
on "Careers in Market," focusing on equity, derivatives, and debt capital
markets globally, highlighting the skills needed to excel in financial sectors.
Willis Towers Watson (WTW) discussed strategies for career growth,
transitioning from college to corporate, career development, building a
professional image, and personal growth.

These lectures enhance the academic curriculum and equip students with
practical knowledge and industry-specific skills, preparing them for
successful careers.
