At the end of the lesson 90% of the students are expected to:

1. Define the lathe machine and lathe operations


2. Identify the types of lathe operations
3. Appreciate the importance of lathe operation on applying it in real life

1. Opening Prayer

This game is simple. I will group you into two
and you have to follow the instructions.

Instructions:
1. Choose one representative from your
group and come here in front.
2. The representative will pick a word and
write it using his back/butt.
3. The rest member of the group will
guess the word
4. Every word has an equivalent time to
guess. 1 minute per word.
5. Each group has two words to guess and
if there is a tie, we will have a tie
breaker.
Major Rule:
No coaching. Once I found out you’re coaching,
all of your team will be eliminated/disqualified.

generated power sources to be operated and
create different result according to its rule.

easier. With the help of machines we can do
work by expending less energy and force. Our
body parts act as machines.

- For example, our arms can be thought of as


a machine which can be used for lifting up
objects easily. So that’s how machine also do.
