Livelihood business development Project

II. BACKGROUND/ RATIONALE

The Philippines is a country location in Southeast Asia comprises of more


than 7,000 islands. Poverty has been proven to be one of the significant
challenge, facing this country and its cities. Filipinos are having a hard time
surviving to swim conditions, and more are falling it's extreme poverty.

According to the development bank, the major cause of poverty involve; low
economic growth, a weak agricultural sector, increased population ratio and
high volume of inequality. Because of these factor , there are lot of affects in
poverty in the Philippines that make for people to live more difficult in such
circumstances.

With poverty plaguing the country and employment scarce many Filipinos are
unable to afford housing , malnutrition as one of extreme poverty, around 3.6
million children from 5-17 are in child labor is due to not enough money to
support for children education and with overwhelming reasons some people
often resort of crime and thievery.

In recent survey from national economic development authority ( NEDA) from


April 2020 the number of unemployed person was 7.2 million resulting to an
unemployment rate of 17.6 percent. These is high record for the
unemployment rate reflecting to the effect of economic shutdown to the
Philippine labor market due to the covid-19 pandemic.
As part of community plan to stabilize her economy reduce unemployment
rate and provide quality living for her citizens. ALBC aimed @ contributing
hugely in achieving this field. Taking a cognizance of AZ QUEEN 21st Century
Projection of 3rd world country which Philippine is part ( to be major world
economic player contributors).

HOS seek to raise vibrant entrepreneurs that will strategically positioned for
economic growth and stability for Philippine now in a near future.

Angat Lahat Bayanihan Campaign is a charitable arm of HOS, a way of giving


back to its community while teaching them on how to secure financial
through our Empowered Consumerism partnership a company's channel of
blessings. And one of the campaign important goal is to support community
in need to be a" FORCE FOR GOOD" in the world. There are three(3) areas
being supported; street kids and abandoned children, elderly and calamity
stricken areas.

Is a community project that enable to generate Cashflow to Start up a new


business/ project existing ones without taking loans within a stipulated
period of time. It is a business of the people, by the people, and for the
people. The training and mentorship here is top notch that even if you're a
block ahead you will and must succeed.

III. OBJECTIVES

1. To enables selected partners to generate CASHFLOW to start up a new


business/ or expanding existing ones without taking loans, within a stipulated
period of time.

2. To help the community to understand on how financially literate is being


transformed into productive use and encourage participants to generate
ideas for investment.

3. To empower selected individuals to get hold their financial future, health


and time freedom and live a good life in this Connected Economy.

IV. TARGET BENEFICIARIES

1. Entrepreneurs, Public and Private Employees, Self- employed


Professionals, Young Politicians, Civil Servant, Retirees and farmers
2. House wives, Single Mom, Female Entrepreneurs, Working Class Ladies,
Female Politicians, Female Undergraduate

3. Young Entrepreneurs, Graduates, Undergraduates, Youth Members

V. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Financial Literacy is the ability to make informal decision and to take


effective action regarding the current and future use and management of
money. It is also the ability to understand financial choices, plan for the
future, spend wisely, and manage the challenges associated with life events
such as loss of job, medical emergencies, house constructions, saving for
retirement and paying for child's education.

To improve financial literacy is through general awareness campaign on the


importance of remittances and putting them to good use. Campaign has a
clear message through various tools such as brochures, posters TV
commercial , radio etc and most important conduct forum which the target
group meet and engage in various social activities and business.

As part of global initiative we @ OBA ( Online Business Academy) is a school


of mentorship that conforms your mindset to a success driven mentally. A
non- government business development and mentorship initiative sponsored
by ANGAT LAHAT BAYANIHAN CAMPAIGN that enables selected individual to
generate capital from home to finance their personal business or expand
existing ones without collateral or interest within a given time. The vision is
to help selected partners discover how to get hold of their financial future
and live a good life in this Connected Economy.

VI. GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE

This financial literacy and " Angat Lahat Bayanihan " livelihood business
development project is intended to be implemented to Barangay's
throughout Bohol

municipalities and provinces throughout the country. It aimed to work with


local organizations on the area with particular consideration of the families
and local residences.
VII. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The project will be managed by the officers and members of local association
in the area. For assurance that the project will be properly implemented, it
will be clearly monitored and evaluated periodically by the officers and
members of CPSA office headed by Lourdes C. Agbon monthly and quarterly
report will be required for each organization to see it that execution of the
project guidelines is properly implemented.

VIX. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS

Since we are in the pre lauching period we aimed to build a team of


mastermind slots 10 -12 persons potential leader and we budget each
persons to have 30% of initial capital to generate cash flow to start up a
business idea here with the help of angat lahat bayanihan campaign

Proposed capital = 36,000 php

Per individual = 3,000 php


X. SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACT

The project will open the minds of individual and the community as well on
how to be financially literate and how to save and invest even with meager
income for future use. At the same time, creates livelihood opportunities for
the neighbors and other communities.

Financial Literacy and Livelihood business development project in the


community is difficult to achieve when responsibility is left alone to them,
without an outside intervention. The transfer of knowledge and learning will
develop compassion to our community leaders to become institutional
stewards in the future.
