Notice to candidates
Preliminary evaluation procedure

The preliminary evaluation will be conducted by the UNICAM Scientific Committee that may establish further
admission requirements than Ministerial Circular ones.
Additional requirements may include:
• A final score of above 75%. Students with a lower grade can also participate in the pre-admission procedure,
however this may affect the evaluation outcome;
• Relevant study path. Students who obtained (or are going to obtain) a final diploma in a different subject area
can also participate in the pre-admission procedure, however this may affect the evaluation outcome;
• Age limits. In the event of a high number of applications, the Scientific Committee may settle a range on the
basis of the number of applications received.
Students who already got CIMEAs (Verification+Comparability) or ARDI+CIMEA (Corrispondence+Verification)

certificates even if issued for another institution, or in alternative a DoV will be given preference in the evaluation.
They are kindly invite to upload them during the preliminary evaluation application.
Positive outcome DOES NOT imply any kind of scholarship. Only pre-admitted students will receive further
information on how to apply for regional scholarship as the University does not itself offer scholarships to first-
year students.
Positive outcome of the preliminary evaluation for pre-admission DOES NOT imply any automatic enrolment.
UNICAM reserves de right to reject and not to finalize the enrolment until all the mandatory documents are
submitted.
The eligibility for the enrolment DOES NOT grant any automaticity in the issuance of the study visa, which is
exclusive responsibility of the Italian Diplomatic Authority.

qualifications awarded by non-Italian education systems
The following list is reserved to candidates who have obtained (or are about to earn) qualifications awarded by
non-Italian education systems. The list is a guiding tool and does not exempt in any way candidates from the
submission of mandatory documents for pre-admission and enrolment (more information available at
international.unicam.it. The absence of a country from the list doesn’t mean that UNICAM won’t accept students
holding qualifications from that country (more information at welcome@unicam.it).
Please mind:
• If your qualification has been obtained (or is going to be obtained) in one of the 55 countries signatories to the
Lisbon Recognition Convention, please visit ARDI website. ARDI provides a comparative opinion or
correspondence with Italian qualifications.
• If you hold a High School diploma [secondary education qualification] conferred on completion of 11 years of
educations (or less) and you wish to apply for a BSc Degree course or a one-tier MSc Degree course, please
check compensatory measures in Annex 1 of the Ministerial Circular.
• About TRANSNATIONAL EDUCATION (TNE), institutions must be accredited/recognized both in the country
where they are based and in the country whose education system they refer to, in compliance with the
UNESCO-Council of Europe Code of Good Practice in the Provision of Transnational Education.
