Summary of Arguments respondent -

It is humbly submitted to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Tianzhu that in the light of the
aforementioned contentions it is firmly established that the power of the Supreme Court to
club the cases is legally valid and authorized. The clubbing of the particular petitions shall be
on the basis of- 1) common grounds, 2) cultural and religious commonality, 3) constitutional
rights and freedom, 4) public and mass attention and 5) saving of time instead of numerous
trials.

It is humbly submitted to the Hon’ble Court that the exemption provided to Kodava
community is constitutionally valid on the basis of 1) Constitutional validity of exemption
provided to Kodava community and 2) History, customs and culture of the Kodava
Community

It is humbly submitted to the Hon’ble Court that the practice to carry Kirpan by a Sikh forms
an integral part of their religion and therefore, the constitutional right granted for the same
should be upheld and continued to be enforced on the basis of 1) Essentiality of religious
practice, 2) Subjection to public order, Morality and Health as stated under Article 25 of the
Constitution of Tianzhu and 3) Subjection to reasonable restrictions.

It is humbly submitted to the Hon’ble Court that the practice of carrying Kukri by the Gorkha
community is legally permitted on the basis of- 1) The exemption provided by the Central
Government by way of the Impugned notification dated 13.07.1962 and 2) Historical
background of Kukri and Gorkha.

Petitioner
It is humbly submitted before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Tianzhu that in the light of the
aforementioned contentions it is firmly established that though the power of the Supreme
Court to club the cases is legally valid and authorized but in the concerned matter it should
not happen in such situations due to – 1) Difference in Cultural background, 2) Different facts
and elements of the case and 3) Difference in jurisdiction of petitions filed.

It is humbly submitted before the Hon’ble Court that the exemption provided to Kodava
community is unconstitutional as it is arbitrary, discriminatory and violative of the Articles
14, 15 and 21 of the Constitution of Tianzhu.
It is humbly submitted to that the right granted to the Sikh community under Article 25 (1) of
the Constitution is invalid and this particular provision should be removed due to the
following reasons-
1) The practice of carrying a Kirpan is not an integral part of Sikh religion.

2) The practice of carrying a Kirpan under the Sikh religion goes against the public
order, morality and health as stated under and in context of Article 25 of the
Constitution of Tianzhu.
3) The right given to Sikh community to carry Kirpan is not subject to reasonable
restrictions.

It is humbly submitted to the Hon’ble Court that the practice followed by Gorkha to possess
Kukri in Tianzhu is not legally permitted as- 1) The Gorkha community is a cultural
community and not a religion in itself and 2) The practice has no constitutional validity.
