Testing instructions
Day of test:
• Ensure your tes+ng area is cleared off and is free of any unauthorized aids (e.g., charts displaying mathema+cal concepts).
• For the math session, ensure you have a pen or pencil and scratch paper.
• Ensure that all so>ware applica+ons, including Internet browsers, are closed on the student computer.
• You will aCend a Class session with your test proctor to review this guide and receive the Session ID that is required to log in to the test. Write down the
Session ID exactly as the test administrator presents it on the top of this guide.
• Please use the restroom prior to clicking on the secure browser so you do not have to stop during the test.
Please remember to do your own work. Progress monitoring assessments are computer-adap8ve, which means that the ques8ons become easier or more difficult
depending on how you respond. It is in your best interest to do your own work so that your test results reflect your true ability.
• Do not discuss specific test items a>er the test. This includes any type of electronic communica+on, such as tex+ng, emailing, or pos+ng to social media
sites.
• Once complete with this Class session, ensure that all other windows on your computer are closed. All so>ware applica+ons, including Internet browsers,
should be closed before clicking the secure browser to enter the test.
• You may not have a cell phone during tes+ng, nor may you have any other electronic or recording devices. If you have any devices with you right now,
please turn them off and put them in another room un+l the end of the test.
