SEW IN THE HEAD INSERT:

Wiggle your hook handle (or a pencil) into the heads center, to separate the fiber filling even more.
Push in the insert, going in with RND 1 first, leaving the opening lined up with with RND 19 head.
Sew together through FLO. of each piece. Since we now have 10 stitches of the insert, paired up with 14 stitches of the
head opening, we will have to evenly divide them by going through head stitches twice, four times.

SEW ON THE FACE:

Pin the face in place and sew it on to the head going through the unworked back loops of the face ROW 2
Make sure the face’s opening is slightly tugged in under the eyes outer edge, leaving the “nose” free.

DRESS THE DOLL

STEP 1:
Going feet first, carefully wiggle her bum through the dress. Then insert the arms into the arm holes of the dress,
those might need some wiggles too. With a long thread of black B yarn, lace up the back of the dress, starting at the
top working downwards, ending at the waist. Finish off with a bow.

I’ve used my 1.75 mm. crochet hook to get through the loops.

Continue to wrap the foot and back up the leg as shown in the pictures below.
When returned to the top of the leg, secure by tying the ends together with a double knot. Cut short.

ATTACH THE FEET

Trim the wire going out of the feet, so they align with the ankles. Press the wire loop from the feet flat and insert
them into the leg. Align the middle toe with the knee and use BLACK yarn to fasten as shown in pictures below.
Weave in end through the leg. NOTE: I have used body color 1 yarn in the pictures for better visuality.

Bend the toes and the middle of the feet to add dimension and better stability for standing.

LANTERN FLAME / EMBRODERY

Use long strands of yarn on a needle, secure with a double knot and insert anywhere between stitches in the lanterns
middle part, pull the knot inside to secure.
Start by making 3 long vertical stitches in bright yellow, covering RND 6-12. Then add 3 long stitches on each side
using bright orange, covering RND 6-14. Repeat on the other side of the lantern, directly across.

LANTERN FLAME / FABRIC FELT

Cut out fabric felt in the shape of almonds. 2 large in bright yellow covering RND 6-14 and 2 smaller in bright orange to
fit on top of the yellow. Use either hot or cold adhesive and glue the pieces together in two sets. Then glue them on
the lantern as shown in the pictures below. One at the front and one directly across on the other side
