05 Battery Details & Maintenance

Battery Details

The INKBIRD INT-14-BW has four food probes and a base that can expand the Bluetooth connection range

(serves as a repeater), emit alarms, and charge the probes.

A fully charged probe can last for 25 hours of continuous cooking, so you don't need to worry about the

battery running out during your cooking time. Please note that consistently high temperatures may reduce

the battery life.

The base has a built-in 3500mAh high-capacity lithium battery. With the screen brightness set to 30%

and 4 hours of use while charging the probes everyday, the base can last for 20 days.

Battery Charging Steps & Method

Probe

Put the probe that needs to be charged in the charging position on the base.

The charging icon in the probe corresponding area will flash and remain lit once fully charged.

Base
Please use the provided charging cable to charge this device. It will take approximately 3.5 hours to

fully charge.

While charging, the indicator light on the base will flash green at the breathing rate and remain lit once

fully charged.

If you need to charge this device with a different cable, please ensure that the cable has a type-C inter-

face and provides 5V 2A.

Use & Maintenance

Do not use the probe in environments outside of the specified temperature range. If the temperature in the

cooking environment exceeds 300℃ (572℉) or falls below -10℃ (14℉), it may reduce the probe battery life or

damage the battery.

07
When the probe's battery power is low, please clean and dry it before placing it back on the charging

position on the base for charging. When the base's battery power is low, please use the provided cable to

charge it. The LCD screen on the base will display the charging status of both the base and the probe.

Do not use or store this product in harsh weather or high-humidity environments. Do not clean the base
with running water or place it in a dishwasher or water sink, as this may cause water seepage and damage
to the device.

When you turn on the device and leave it unused for a short period of time, it will automatically enter

sleep or shut down mode to conserve power. However, if you plan on not using the device for an extended

period, please charge the battery to 70% capacity to prevent it from entering a deep discharge state. Do

not fully charge the device before storing it, as this may shorten the battery lifespan.

If the device's battery power is low, the measured temperature results may be inaccurate, the indicator

and buzzer may be deactivated, or the device may be disconnected from the smartphone. Please charge it

timely. However, do not use any Type-C cable that is not 5V 2A to charge the device, as this may cause

damage.

When using, ensure that the base is not placed on a hot stove, working oven, or grill surface. Do not put
it inside an oven or grill, as this could result in damage to the product or personal injury.

this product, then follow the app instructions to complete the connection.

During the connection process, place the device as close as possible to your smartphone and router.

Additionally, when in use, ensure that all probes remain within 19.68 feet (6 meters) of the base.

07 Cleaning & Maintenance

Please note that the probes are waterproof but the base is not. After use, clean the probes under running

water or in a dishwasher. Avoid using corrosive detergents as they can damage the probes.

09
After cleaning the probes, wait for them to dry before placing them back on the charging positions on

the base to avoid device damage caused by rusty electrode plates or water seepage.

Please note that the base is not waterproof. Do not rinse or submerge it with water. If necessary, use a

slightly damp cloth to wipe the base and prevent water from seeping and causing damage to the product.

For storage, please place the probes inside the charging base and store the entire unit in a shady and

cool place away from children. Improper storage can result in property damage or personal injury.

08 Important Notes/Warnings

The probes are previously paired with the base at the factory. After starting up, take out a probe, the

corresponding area will display the detected temperature of the probe and the icon . Set a menu for the

probe on the app and then the probe can be used.

This product is not suitable for use in microwave ovens or pressure cookers. When using the probe, make

sure that it is inserted in the center of the food and that the depth of insertion is beyond the safe cooking line

engraved on the probe and that any bones are avoided.

The base can serve as a Bluetooth signal repeater. Place the base as close to the probes as possible.

If this is not feasible, make sure that the distance between the base and the probes is no more than 6 meters

and that there are no metal or any other obstacles in between.

When the cooking temperature exceeds the specified temperature range, please do not use the probe or

immediately stop using it and cool it down.

Do not expose the probe directly to fire or burning wood charcoals. If the probe falls into the fire, please

immediately stop heating and wait for it to cool down before removing it. Prolonged exposure to high tempera-

tures can damage the probe.

When using, make sure that the base stays away from fire and heat sources. Do not expose it to

direct sunlight, nor place or magnetically attach it to the surface of an oven or grill. And, do not put

the base inside the oven or grill.

10
After cooking, do not immediately touch the hot probe. Wait for it to cool down. If necessary, use a heat-

resistant tool to avoid burns.

This product is designed specifically for grilling and cooking. It is not recommended for any other

purposes.
