Read the text below carefully, then answer the questions as follow:
Good morning everyone,

I’m truly happy to stand before you today and share some thoughts on life and the challenges
we face. Life is often like a long, winding road, sometimes unclear, and hard to navigate.
However, I believe that every step we take, no matter how small, is a significant part of our
journey toward growth and understanding.
We can’t simply sit back and expect everything to fall into place. If someone tells you that
"everything will work out just by waiting," I think that is a mistaken belief. Life is a journey
where we must actively participate. We are the ones who create our own map. If you’re
feeling tired, it’s okay to res t, but never stop moving forward. And when you feel stuck,
remember: "If the ship can’t sail because of the storms, it will always remain in the harbor."
We must find a way to overcome difficulties, because challenges are an inseparable part of
life.
Additionally, I want to emphasize the importance of listening and understanding others. The
act of listening can be the first step in building meaningful relationships and helping one
another overcome challenges. Sometimes, we don’t need to say much; simply being present
and listening can be a powerful action in itself.
Lastly, I want to encourage all of you to never stop dreaming. Let your dreams be the
guiding light that leads you toward your goals, because they are the lanterns that brighten
the dark path ahead.

Last week, I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very
interesting. But I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting
behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I
turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any
attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again. ‘I can't hear a
word!’, I said angrily. ‘It’s none of your business,’ the young man said rudely. ‘This
is a private conversation!”

In the conversation below, discuss the role of shared cultural knowledge in the
interpretation of discourse in terms of relevance.
