Quizify Mobile Application

❖ RATIONALE

Quizify is a user-friendly tool that makes learning and testing more interactive and fun. Unlike
traditional tests, which can feel boring or stressful, Quizify turns quizzes into a more engaging
experience by using points, levels, and rewards to keep students motivated. One of its biggest
benefits is that it gives instant feedback, so students know right away if their answers are correct
and can learn from any mistakes in real time. This helps reinforce what they’ve learned and builds
confidence along the way.

Quizify also makes life easier for teachers by automating grading, saving time, and ensuring scores
are fair and accurate. The app collects data on each student’s performance, showing teachers where
students are doing well and where they might need extra help. Because it’s accessible from any
device, students can use Quizify whenever and wherever they like, which is especially helpful for
remote learning. With different types of questions and adjustable difficulty levels, Quizify adapts
to each student's needs and learning style, creating a more personalized experience.

For students with disabilities, Quizify includes features like screen readers and adjustable font
sizes, making it more inclusive. Over time, Quizify also lets teachers track progress and make
adjustments to the learning plan, helping students grow and improve. Overall, Quizify makes
learning more enjoyable, assessments more insightful, and helps both teachers and students reach
their goals effectively.

❖ INTRODUCTION ABOUT PROJECT

The "Quizify System" project will be developed to overcome the time-consuming problem of
manual system. Apart from that in current system, checking the answer sheets after taking test,
waste the examiners time, so these applications will check the correct answer and save the
examiner time and carry the examination in an effective manner. The users which are use this
system don't need to high computing knowledge and also system will inform them while entering
invalid data

The aim of this project is to computerized the existing manual system and help the examiners to
save their valuable time and important data. Apart from this, dita which are exist in this system,
will exist for long period of time and will be easily accessible. This project helps the examiners to
manage their services in a good way and provide a better service to their users

The objective of this project is to manage the details of students, examination, marks, courses and
papers in a good manner. The performance of the application will be fully control by administrator
and administrator can guaranty any one to access. The project will reduce the manual process, in
managing examinations and all issues regarding that

To design and implement this project we plan that the project support to different types of users
apart from its administrative part. When project is tan for the first time is allowed the user to select
as who he/she wants to login in the system. Project support login to teacher and login as student.
If a user who is student, try to login as teacher in system will not allow him and vice versa. User
who adds as teacher in system will be to punch test and questions to system and also will be able
observe the result of the student which attempt tests. User who login to system as student will be
able to select a particular test and attempt questions depend on this test. After attempting the test
and submitting that use will receive a message that you have attempt the successfully and if the
user tries to attempt the same test system will not allow him/her. Also, a user which login to system
as student will be not able to observe the test, he/she attempts.

❖ LITURATURE SURVEY

The Expert System (ES), namely Interactive Learning Using Expert System Quizzes was
proposed by John A. Byers and Al narp, at Sweden in 1999. He combined database of text with
HTML (Hypertext markup language) code and JavaScript to make interactive quizzes. The
compilation of the HTML pages with appropriate JavaScript and specific text of questions &
answers.

Questions are given along with multiple choices and at the end the accuracy of correct answers
are displayed after calculation. The above mentioned software can be downloaded . This quiz
provides users the feature of making their own quiz. The operational version of the
aforementioned system is available. The Web based expert system, is an online learning center.
This is the Student Edition for learning and preparation. It is a multiple-choice quiz. After each
and every question, three or four choices are given. Users can select a single choice at a time.

After giving answer to all of the questions, users will submit the answers, and then a result or progress
report is displayed containing total number and accuracy of correct, incorrect and un answered
questions. Email facility is also provided in HTML or Text format; one can email or send results to
his/her own id, to instructor, to the TA and others. The Quizify is an online Interactive Learning Quiz
Games, focused on facts. This quiz has many sub categories. It provides many fields to users, students
and learners for the learning purpose.

The categories are Math facts, U.S. History, Multiply fractions, Vocabulary Quiz, Spelling
Quiz Game, Physics and others. It is not a multiple-choice quiz; one has to select the matching
pairs in this quiz. The current documentation of different studies is organized in the context of
opinion mining and lexicon-based sentiment analysis related to quiz applications. However,
most of such systems are either web- based or desktop-based and directs the user generated
content. There are many researches in the field of quiz application development which are
conducted to evaluate the growth in knowledge and skills.

❖ PROBLEM DEFINATION

Our project aimed at Quizify Mobile Application. For this aim these are the few
problem statements:

EXISTING SYSTEM:

1. Low Engagement: Traditional assessments lack engaging elements, making


them monotonous for students.
2. Delayed Feedback: Feedback is not immediate, limiting students' ability to learn
from mistakes in real time.
3. Manual Grading: Grading is often done manually, which is time-consuming and
prone to errors.
4. No Adaptive Testing: Traditional assessments do not adjust question difficulty
based on student performance.
5. Limited Accessibility: Traditional assessments often lack features that support
students with disabilities.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

1. Enhanced Engagement: Quizify uses gamified elements like points and levels
to make assessments more interactive and enjoyable.
2. Instant Feedback: Quizify provides real-time feedback, allowing students to
learn immediately from each question.
3. Automated Grading: The system automates grading, saving time and ensuring
consistent, accurate scoring.

4. Adaptive Testing: Quizify adjusts the difficulty level of questions based on


individual student performance.
5. Inclusive Accessibility: The app includes accessibility features like screen
readers, making it usable for all students.

❖ PROPOSED METHODOLOGY

The programming language used for the development of the project is HTML &CSS and the
software model used is the classic lifecycle model.

Waterfall Process model:

The Classical Life Cycle or Waterfall Process Model was the first process model to present a
sequential framework, describing basic stages that are mandatory for a successful software
development model. It formed the basis for most software development standards and consists
of the following phases: Requirement Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, and Maintenance.

Advantages of Waterfall model


• Simple goal.
• Simple to understand and use.
• Clearly defined stages.
• Easy to arrange tasks.
• Process and result are well documented.
• Customers/end users already know about it.
• Easy to manage.

Disadvantages of Waterfall model:

• Rigid design and inflexible procedure.


• Waterfall model faced "Inflexible point solution" which meant even small
amendments in the design were difficult to incorporate later design phase.
• As the requirement were froze before moving to the design phase, using the
incomplete set of requirements, a complete design was worked amendments in case
of a large project, completing a phase and then moving back to reconstruct the same
phase, incurred a large overhead.
• Once a phase is done, it is not repeated again that is movement in the waterfall goes
one to the next and the vice versa is not supported, deadlines are difficult to meet I
case of large projects.

1. HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

Most current Computers and Laptop have enough specifications to be used to create an
application. The most important specification to check on the computer would be the size of the
RAM, which should be over 2 GB, more is better. This will ensure that the computer runs
quickly and smoothly, even with heavier programs. The computer should have a keyboard and
mouse attached and working as well.
