3. Mindset of the player within Defending

• The player understands that Defense is not more important then Offense and Offense is
not more important then Defense. To be successful and get the max out of the game we
Defense and Offense with the same intensity
• The player(s) know what is being Demand and is Consistent!!!
• We want to have the ball back as soon as possible. The player is aggressive but with ice
in the mind!!! Have self control!!!
• How Faster we get the ball back and keep the opponent away from the goal and center
area’s how more we Control the game!!!
• With defending you can disturb, disbalance the mindset of the opponent “you let them
breath, be themselves – or you get the opponent out of their comfort zone and create
panic in their mind, let them feel discomfort, put them constantly under pressure, get
them out of their rhythm!!!
