Ans:
As a Pre-service teacher the only thing I can say is Portfolio means is a form of Alternative Assessment
intended to accumulate evidence to measure growth over time of a student’s or teachers performance. it is a
purposeful collection of student work that exhibits students efforts. Progress and acheivements in one or more
areas each Portfoilio might contain of exemplars of the students work.

Portfolio gives more reliable and dyanamic data about student for teachers, parent and also student himself.
Also using this assessment method in primary schools Provides getting clear information about student and
fulfilling their weakness and helps teachers planning teaching progress.

The working portfolio is a working document. This means that you will be building or adding to the portfolio
every day during your placement to display the tasks and activities that you are completing.

A documentary portfolio is a collection of student's work which gives evidence to show how the student can meet
