Today I would like to tell you about mid-autumn festival in Viet Nam
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional celebration in Vietnam that takes place on the 15th day of
the eighth lunar month. It is also known as the Moon Festival or the Children’s Festival because it is a
time to Enjoy the beauty of the full moon and activities with children. Some of the customs and
traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival include:
Carrying lanterns: Children often make or buy colorful lanterns in different shapes, such as stars, fish,
butterflies, or rabbits. They carry them around the streets or hang them in front of their houses to
create a festive atmosphere. Lanterns represent hope, joy, and light.
I love the Mid-Autumn Festival because I can have free time to hangout and have fun with my friend,
study with each other and carry a lanterns around the streets.
