Mind
Mapping
Mind mapping is a visual tool used to
organize information, ideas, or thoughts in a
structured way.

It helps in brainstorming, problem-solving,

learning, and planning by creating
connections between ideas.

Mind maps often start with a central idea

and expand outward with branches

Key Features of a Mind Map
•Central Idea: The core topic or main
concept is placed at the center of the mind
map.
•Branches: Related subtopics or ideas
radiate outward from the central idea.
•Keywords: Each branch is labeled with a
keyword or short phrase to capture the
essence of the idea.
•Connections: Links between branches
show relationships or hierarchy among
ideas.
•Colors and Images: Colors, symbols, or
images are often used to differentiate
branches and make the mind map more
engaging and memorable.
