Introduction
AI is changing the game for cybersecurity, analyzing massive quantities of risk data to
speed response times and augment under-resourced security operations. As
cyberattacks grow in volume and complexity, artificial intelligence (AI) is helping under-
resourced security operations analysts stay ahead of threats. The type of attacks we are
prone to currently being - Advanced Malware, Insider threats, Transaction frauds,
Encrypted attacks, Data exfiltration, The exploitation of run-time applications, Acquisition
of accounts, Network Lateral Movement, and many more. Curating threat intelligence
from millions of research papers, blogs and news stories, AI technologies like machine
learning and natural language processing provide rapid insights to cut through the noise
of daily alerts, drastically reducing response times. Thus, it is a must for Financial and
Banking institutions that they know what they can deploy now and understand future
challenges. This will allow them to work toward redesigning their businesses and advance
the security framework. This e-program is one step in this direction.
Objective
¬ To make the participants aware of the basic ML pipeline and the set of practices that
aims to deploy and maintain machine learning models reliable and efficient.
¬ To present emerging use cases of AI/ML in the cyber security framework in BFSI,
such as Breach risk prediction, User authentication, Spam filtering, Bot
identification, Behavioral analysis, Network segmentation & security, Identity &
access management and many more, along with the technological factors and
concepts behind them.
