AISSCE PRACTICAL EXAMINATION 2023-24


SUBJECT – PHYSICS PRACTICAL (042)
Time- 03 hrs M.M.- 30
SECTION -A (7 Marks)
( Attempt any one )
1. To determine resistance per cm of a given wire by plotting a graph of potential difference
versus current.
2. To determine resistance of a galvanometer by half deflection method and figure of
merit.
3. To verify the law of series combination of resistance using meter bridge .
4. Convert galvanometer into a voltmeter of desired range and to verify the same.

SECTION- B (7 Marks)
( Attempt any one )
1.To find the value of v for different values of u in case of a concave mirror and hence find its
focal length by plotting graph between u and v.
2.To find the focal length of a concave lens using a convex lens .
3.Determine the angle of minimum deviation for a given glass prism by plotting a graph
between the angle of incidence and the angle of deviation and hence to find the refractive
index of the material of the prism.
4.To draw the I-V characteristic curve for a P-N junction diode in forward and reverse bias.
