Long text opening in external MS word

Hello Experts,

The users is trying to view or change the long text with transactions IW41/IW43 and the long text is opening in
external MS word and not within the SAP MS word. They were able to do this earlier.

Don't know what has changed. We haven't changed our GUI or MS o�ce versions or not updated any patch.

I have a temporary solution of using SAPScript by unchecking the graphic text option from the settings. But I
want to know what changed the system and why isn't embedded Word not working?

The same users can use the embedded SAP Word in the Quality system though. ROles and parameters re same in
both Quality and Production.

Please help!!!

Thank you for your suggestions. For now, I have suggested the user to use SAPscript instead of
Graphic editor.

ask to your user compare the SU53 transaction between these two environments. Maybe this
problem is related to authority check.

Hi Bruno,

Thank you for your input. We've checked the user and everything is the same in Q and P. There are no restrictions.

I think the issue might be with the MS o�ce or GUI. Because it was working �ne when the user logged in with my system.
