I think it would be the right course combination, I have a strong foundation
of English to study in foreign country and International Business is where
my strength lies. It can give me more career opportunities in the future after
learning additional skills.

7. What school are you going to study in the U.S/ America?

I’m going to study at Arkansas State University located in Jonesboro,
Arkansas

I narrowed down my search to the best schools which were a good fit for
my career path, and had the best provisions for my programme. So I applied
to this university and got accepted.

9. How many school did you apply to?

I applied only to this school as it accepts for me to study my main major
with my Ielts certificate.

10. What do you know about the school are you going to study in
America?
Arkansas State University is a four-year institution located in Jonesboro,
Arkansas. This institute offers many clubs and extracurricular activities to
be involved in and contribute my ideas. Besides that, A- State is also known
for being one of the best schools with a very strong program of business
administration. And my favorite part about being a student at A-State is that
campus life has a variety of programming space, meeting rooms, and
banquet facilities to explore.

11. Why do you choose this school?

Arkansas State University is a good university to attend, I think. I like how
they offer many opportunities, it is diverse, and it has a great atmosphere.

The programs as well as courses satisfy my academic endeavor for the
pursuit of knowledge. The price of attending this university is fairly cheap
compared to other places. It seems like a very nice place to be in.

12. What do you know about the City are you going to study in
America?
As far as I am concerned, Jonesboro is the regional hub of Northeast
Arkansas for healthcare, entertainment, business, and industry. Jonesboro
also is known as the "City of Churches. It is a nice medium sized town with
easy access to Memphis for city activities and there are a lot of parks. The
public schools in Jonesboro are above average.

13. Why do you choose this City to study?

I love living in Jonesboro for many reasons. First and foremost, living in
Jonesboro offers residents a suburban feel that comforts an international
student like me when homesick come . Secondly, the cost of living is 4%
lower than the state average and 11% lower than the national average that
suits my family's economy so it would be great to live here.

14. What do you know about the State are you going to study in
America?
As I researched, Arkansas is nicknamed the Natural State, a landlocked
state in the South Central region of the US. The population is much less
than most states.

15. Why do you choose this State to study?

It must be this state because Arkansas is a great place to live and play
thanks to it has one of the lowest costs of living in the nation, friendly
people, mild temperatures, great food and entertainment, stunning views,
and a wide range of activities to suit my taste.

16. Why do you choose US to study?

I want to go out there to visit unfamiliar, explore new places, and asking
people for their stories about doing business, so I, preparing for my future.
And something will need to succeed while doing business internationally, is
simply to travel and observe the world. That is the reason why I choose US
for my study.

17. What major are you going to study in the US?

I am going to pursue International Business major in US.

18. What do you know about this major?

This stimulating course will equip me with a detailed knowledge and deep
understanding of today’s global commercial environment. I'll learn how to
assess the economic climate by using key economic indicators and tools and
so many skills that have equipped me to become an entrepreneur.

19. Why do you choose this major to study?

Because my family has a tradition in doing business. I want to follow my
parents’ footsteps and apply the knowledge I get in the US to serve my
home country. I also know that Business is all about the connections I
make, so there will be opportunities for me to travel and network with
people abroad.

I got an IELTS band 5.5.

Yes, the school accepted me into the main major because I had enough
IELTS scores and GPA.

My parents have not traveled abroad, but they travel to famous destinations
in Vietnam regularly.

32. Why don’t you continue studying in Vietnam?

My family and I myself want to give me a chance to approach knowledge of
developed countries. I decided to study abroad to invest in my future career.
Quality of the course and university is also considered when making
decisions. I think studying abroad will give me more successful career.

33. Will you study full-time or part-time?

I would be a full time student.

34. Are you planning to work while you are studying?

No, because my parents have enough money for me to live and study in the
US. In addition, I want to spend time participating in extracurricular
activities and University clubs.

35. Are you planning to stay in America after you finished

studying there?
No, I have a long-term plan in Vietnam. In addition, all my contacts are in
Vietnam, and when I return to Vietnam to work and grow, I will have more
advantages than in the US, in the US I don't know anyone I will have to
start from scratch.

36. What are you planning to do after you finished studying in

America/US? What are your career plan?
I will return to VN to take over and expand the swimming pool business
and also add more sport activities to the center, and I plan to buy a franchise
"Aqua-Tots Swim Schools" - This is a course that teaches water survival
skills for children from 4 months old. In Vietnam, This method is newly

popular in Hanoi. I want to do it because I'm sure it will be a successful
project.

My study plan is to achieve a university degree with honors in
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS within 4 years, then return to Vietnam to
develop my business which is my family's swimming pool.

Definitely not because my parents have enough money for me to live in a

My father has run a centre with 4 swimming pools for 12 years with 10
employees in Dong Nai province. My mother has had a store selling
household appliances.

47. Describe your parents daily job?

What do your parents do exactly every day?
My father is the owner of the pool, there are 7 staff daily supervising the
pool and teaching swimming at the pool, and every morning there are
universal swimming classes for students from elementary and secondary
school. In addition, In the afternoon, there are swimming customers and
non-school swim students.

My mother runs a home appliance store, she checks orders every day, in
addition, she manages counselors, delivery staff, and carrying staff.

Before that, my father was an engineer in a company, my mother sold food
at the canteen.

At the swimming pool: there are 7 pool supervisors, 1 ticket seller, 1
parking attendant, and 1 snack vendor.
