Response to comments from landlord on our drawing.

I refer to the above subject matter.

Here below is the response to comments and recommendations to land lord’s structural engineer on the
proposed alterations.
1 The mezzanine is made of prefabricated horizontal and vertical mild steel members. Their
connection is by interlocking the main vertical upright (columns) with the main beams and
secured by insurance pin. Secondary beam is anchored to the main beam by interlocking. Refer to
attached drawings.
2 At the floor level, vertical members have baseplate which enables them secured to the slab by use
of rawl bolts.
3 The mild steel sections to be used are not readily available in the market as noted. They are
imported prefabricated sections as per the details provided.
The contractor engaged is well experienced in undertaking the works since they have been fixing
the prefabricated mezzanines floors in all China Square limited outlets within the country.
4 China Square Limited assures that the loadings shall not exceeds the stated loading in the
drawings and that the works shall be duly inspected by registered structural Engineer whose
practicing license is here attached.
5 The ramp details are herein attached.
6 All the changes done on site to details on the drawings shall be captured on the shop drawings.
They will be provided once all alterations are done.
