In many ways, travelling is much easier and faster than it was in the past. But
travelling fast doesn’t always mean travelling in comfort. For many people, long plane
flights are unpleasant. For some people, flying can even be dangerous because passengers in
plane have to sit still. In fact, doctors say that sitting for a long time is not good for you.
When you sit still for many hours, your blood doesn’t flow well, especially in your legs.
When the blood stops flowing well, you may get a blood clot in your legs. This can be
painful. It can have more serious effects on your health. To prevent that you should try to
keep your blood flow well during the flight, you can get up now and then and walk down in
the aisle.
