Why Da Nang?
Geography
Geographical location of Da Nang is a middle of Vietnam that provides best position
1 for Data location from prospective of latency (RTD) from a single location. Thus from
singe site is possible to provide best coverage to entire country with approximate
latency less then 15ms.
History
Da Nang historically is a first Submarine Cable Landing Station (CLS)
start operation in 1999 cable system Sea-Me-We 3 (SMW-3) under
management of VNPT. Second submarine cable Asia Pacific Gateway
(APG) was activated in 2016 at Da Nang CLS and co-owned by VNPT
and Viettel from Vietnamese parties. In Q1 year 2025 new submarine
cable Asia Link Cable (ADC) and JSC2 will be RFS. It makes Da Nang
perfectly connected with the rest of the world to accommodate
international connectivity requirements too.
Opportunity
All current and entrant datacenters in Vietnam are build closer to main
two cities HCMC and HN. Even DN one the largest city no large IDC
build here due to being on 3rd or 4th priority. It opens up opportunity to
be first AI DC in DN with perfect Geographic position. Follow Goverment
support to develop Danang to become nation Cyber City.

1 Why Da Nang?
Geography
Geographical location of Da Nang is a middle of Vietnam that

provides best position for Data location from prospective of latency
(RTD) from a single location. Thus from singe site is possible to
provide best coverage to entire country with approximate latency
less then 15ms.
Da Nang High-Tech Park is located in Hoa Vang district with high

terrain, not affected by flooding, is a gathering place for
manufacturing and processing companies, is the number one choice
to build DC in Da Nang.
In terms of weather, Da Nang is located in the tropical monsoon

climate zone, with high temperatures and little fluctuation. The
average annual temperature is about 25.6ºC, the highest is June
(29.2ºC), the lowest is February (21.2ºC). The average annual
humidity is 83.4%. The average annual rainfall is 1,355mm, the
highest is October with 266mm, the lowest is February with 7mm.
Why AI IDC?
Government support
Vietnam government encourage local IT/ISP companies to develop IDC infrastructure
and get ready to accommodate all Vietnam personal data to be hosted in Vietnam.

Long term strategy
Global economics more and more rely on Digital Technologies Big Data and
Internet. It’s obvious that AI IDC will be more and more demanded for
local and international businesses as per government projections.
Expertise
IPTP Networks have expertise to plan/build/operate Datacenters.
In 2007 IPTP Networks acquired 240kW IDC from company Info.nl
and after that planed/build is 2013/operating since then 2MW (AI Ready)

As well IPTP Networks build two edge IDC in Cyprus and Peru 100KW each
in 2013 ‘n 2017 respectively and hold required Licenses including Vietnam.

What is an AI IDC?
Real estate
Internet Data Center (IDC) usually own real estate property ideally purposely build at
the location considering number of challenges like close proximity to power plant or
existed high density substations, telecom infrastructure, cooling capabilities like
water or mine/tunnels. We have received preliminary approval from Da Nang High
Tech Park or Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone for land lease for long term.
Power Provisioning

Internet Data Center usually draw much more power energy than regular real
estates or conventional IDC. For instance 4,000sq.m. hotel for 100 rooms usually
provisioned with 128kW power feed while 4,000sq.m. AI IDC should have at least
10,000kW power provisioning fully protected by diesel generators and
Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) infrastructure.
Cooling Provisioning
Internet Data Center as well shall be designed to anticipate all heat generated by
equipment and considering annual average temperature in Da Nang it shall be at
least 6,000kW redundant cooling infrastructure with economizers for 4,000sq.m.
IDC.
What IPTP have?
IPTP networks is a Internet Service Provider which
have telecommunications License services from the
end of 2022.
As the only unit of ISP in Vietnam with the strength of

specialized infrastructure from Vietnam to 36 global
countries including Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia,
China, Europe, America, providing services for

- Security Network Infrastructure and Solutions;
