Self exploration Meaning : e Process used for value education is self exploration. e As clear from name it is process to find out what is valuable to me by investigating with in myself. ® Since it is me who feel happy, successful, unhappy or unsuccessful. Therefore what is right for me is to be judged by myself only. This whole process is called self exploration Purpose of self exploration: 1 I It is a process of dialogue between “what you are” and “what you really want to be” It is a process of self evolution through self investigation Process of knowing oneself and through that understanding entire existence. Process of recognizing relationship with every unit in existence. Process of knowing human conduct, human character & living accordingly. Process of being in harmony with oneself and with entire existence. Process of knowing innateness, & moving towards self organization & self expression. It is a process of dialogue between “what you are” and “what you really want to be” Ask yourself: Am | what I really want to be? There will be contradiction You have to study inside you to look at difference and remove contradictions. Many times you will find you think something else, want to do something else and do something else. It is a process of self evolution through self investigation © In previous point you found that contradictions are inside you ® So to remove contradictions you have to study yourself * Means you have to evaluate yourself, investigate yourself © It is inside us which is to be investigated not the entire world Process of knowing oneself and through that understanding entire existence. Ask yourself Do I know myself? Do I want this self investigation? Am I satisfied in living my life without knowing myself? If we know our self then only we will be able to know entire world around us. Only then after we can know people we live with- family society-we interact with. So this process starts with self and then through that also know the entire existance. Process of recognizing relationship with every unit in existence © What we are living with: human beings, plants , animals and matter etc. © Once we know ourselves correctly then only we will be able to understand entire world and our relation with them ° Relationship with teachers, family, society etc © For example if you wrongly assume animals breathe away all Process of knowing human conduct, human character & living accordingly. © No one wants to live with uncertainty ° Ask yourself Whether you want certain conduct or uncertain conduct? Can u live comfortably with changing ( uncertain) behavior 7 Process of being in harmony with oneself and with entire existence. With self exploration we can lead our self to harmony Process of knowing innateness, & moving towards self organization & self expression.
