Install the tank bracket using:
for - Tank bracket part 1 (1)
- 2x Washer M6 18 (2)

- Tank bracket part 2 (5)
- 2x Bolt M6x16 (6)
7 (7 7 ) (7 Remove the 2 standard M6 bolts and washers from the front tank mounting points.
Install the tank bracket (1), using the supplied M6x40 (3) and M6x45 (4) bolts, place the M6
35 3 + = washers (2) underneath the bracket for support as shown in the picture on page 1. Tighten the

- Please read the entire manual carefully before starting the installation! Loosen and remove the steering stem nut, using a 32mm key. Remove the original washer.
- Check if you have all the tools required. Good tools are a must. Place the assembly over the thread and position it using the bottom edge. Replace the nut
- Protect your bike at the most important places in and around the work area (e.g. tank, fairing, frame, etc.),
with a blanket, towel or similar. on top of the forkclamp and tighten carefully with a torque of approx. 55-75Nm/486-663Lbs.In/
40-55Lbs.Ft.
Put the assembly together as shown on page 1: On the fork bracket (7), place the washer (8),

/3= the O-ring (9) and the tube clamp (10) inline on top of the M6 hole and put the M6 bolt (11)
- Check all operations and parts carefully before, during and after performing each step. through all the parts and screw it into the thread of the bracket. Tighten the bolt with a torque
- Clean all surfaces that are required for fitting parts together or for applying self adhesives or loctite, of approx. 5-9Nm/44-80Lbs.In/4.0-6.4Lbs.Ft.
thoroughly with contactcleaner or another degreaser, unless otherwise stated. Check the clearance of the bracket when steering from left to right, movement should be free!
- Be carefull not to damage or scratch any part of your bike.
- ALWAYS work relaxed and concentrated!! It is very easy to damage something or make a mistake.

/3= Install the steering damper using:
- Check and make sure that there is no contact between any part of the steering damper kit and any - Bolt M8x25 button head (12)
part of the motorcycle. The kit should not hit anything. Steering movement should not be limited by
the steering damper. If the steering movement is limited, adjust the position of the tube in the clamp - Steering damper, stroke 75 (13)
untill steering movent is normal again. Do not forget to tighten the clamp bolt again! - 1x O-ring (14)
- ALWAYS check the steering movement and feeling before each ride ! - Washer M8 16 (15)
- FIRST RIDES: Start with the damper turned fully open (turn adjuster knob fully counter clockwise).
Start adjusting in between rides with steps of MAX. 2 CLICKS (0.25 TURN) EACH TIME, untill the Ensure that the clamp bolt of the Tube clamp is pointing forward. Shove the damper (13), with the
damper is working satisfactory for your riding style. end knob-side first, through the clamp untill the damper body is fully against the clamp (10),
- NEVER USE MAXIMUM SETTING, ALWAYS OPEN AT LEAST 2 CLICKS (0.25 TURN). then tighten the M6 clamp bolt (10a) with a torque of approx. 6Nm/53Lbs.In/4.4Lbs.Ft.
Use the M8 bolt (12), O-ring (14) and washer (15) to fixate the balljoint to the tank bracket and
- WARNING ! DAMPER HAS AN ACTIVE / SPEEDSENSITIVE DAMPING SYSTEM;
- Steering with NORMAL MOVEMENT should be FREE !! tighten with a torque of approx.14-17Nm/124-150Lbs.In/10.3-12.5Lbs.Ft.
- Steering with FAST MOVEMENT should be CONTROLLED BY DAMPER !! Check if the damper is level horizontally and aligned to the bike.
- HYPERPRO uses a special seal to reduce friction. The seal uses an oil film to work properly. Check if the damper does not touch anything (e.g. tank) when steering from left to right.
It is normal that some oil can appear on the pistonrod.
- Damper works with oil: DAMPING CAN BE HARDER AT LOWER TEMPERATURES!
* Check if the bike can make it's full steering angle from left to right.
